Food, service, and ambience were top notch. Would recommend for a relaxing date night. Drinks were good as well.
This was exactly what we were looking for. The ambiance fit our style. The food was expertly crafted. The group found the perfect balance between food quality and style.
Great New Years Eve dinner at The Cellar!! First time here and we will be back for sure! Food was excellent as well as the service!
Great Time As Always... But... was shocked to see I paid $5 for all three cups of coffee... 🙄... Server never mentioned that... 🙄
We were meeting a friend for dinner and she picked the venue. The first thing I noticed was how loud the music was in the dining room. Loud music=louder conversations =you can't hear your dinner partners. My friend and husband chose the salmon for dinner and they were both very pleased with it. Each of them also had a salad. Since I wanted the French Onion soup, which was delicious, I ordered an appetizer for my entree-the Spanish Octopus skewers. I should have sent it back as it was as tough as rubber. The seasoning was tasty, the char was perfect, but someone did not know how to prepare tender octopus. It was a good thing I wasn't very hungry. My friend and husband shared a chocolate soufflé that they both enjoyed. This was our first time there but we will give it another go.
Food was great, ambience was great. My personal favorite was the appetizers especially the octopus and the lobster bisque. The cocktails were also good
Very busy night. Took a really long time but we managed. Everything was good except 2 pasta dishes. Very salty .Every steak was great . Understandable, it's the holidays. But was a bit of a let down.
Overall really enjoyed the entire experience. We had a reservation and we did not wait even one minute even though we were early. They sat us right away and our server greeted us promptly. She did make a couple mistakes with some orders but overall she was pleasant and attentive. We had the chateaubriant and it was perfectly cooked to our liking. Taste was great and had a couple of great wines. However, the highlight of the meal was the sticky toffee pudding desert. This has been aged for me to fine in the US and when I have found it it hasn't been great. This may have been the best version of it I've had. Very very tasty and is what prompted this review.
We absolutely love The Cellar! We were a little disappointed with the limited menu choices as one of the party loves the PorkChop previously served. Other than that - everything was as expected and we had a lovely evening!
A little hard to find, depending on where you enter the courtyard. But overall, everything was great. 2 out of our party of 4 arrived early and we were able to enjoy Happy Hour at the bar before the other 2 joined. The service from beginning to end was exceptional.

Another great experience at me and my wife's favorite restaurant. Great food, great cocktails, and ambience that just can't be beat. We went for our Christmas date and had the best time.
We spent our 20-year anniversary here and had a phenomenal time. Christina was a great host, the food was excellent, and the cocktails were amazing. Thank you for a memorable experience!
First of Heather our waitress was fantastic! She took very good care of us, so I wanna give her a shout out! The food was so delicious and the dessert was just as fantastic. Overall, it was a fun experience to spend my birthday and parents anniversary at the Cellar. Already looking forward to future visits.
It's always a perfect experience at the Cellar in Fullerton. I think I've tried every drink on the menu and they're all excellent and really love the daily cuff which is the bartenders creation. The food is delicious and presented well and the atmosphere is romantic and beautiful.
Great experience. Food was great. Don't expect to eat quick and run as food/ drinks are spaced out for time. The immediate parking lot is small, but there is additional public parking in the structure next to it.
