We were meeting a friend for dinner and she picked the venue. The first thing I noticed was how loud the music was in the dining room. Loud music=louder conversations =you can't hear your dinner partners. My friend and husband chose the salmon for dinner and they were both very pleased with it. Each of them also had a salad. Since I wanted the French Onion soup, which was delicious, I ordered an appetizer for my entree-the Spanish Octopus skewers. I should have sent it back...
Very busy night. Took a really long time but we managed. Everything was good except 2 pasta dishes. Very salty .Every steak was great . Understandable, it's the holidays. But was a bit of a let down.
Overall really enjoyed the entire experience. We had a reservation and we did not wait even one minute even though we were early. They sat us right away and our server greeted us promptly. She did make a couple mistakes with some orders but overall she was pleasant and attentive. We had the chateaubriant and it was perfectly cooked to our liking.
