I found this place through the Michelin restaurant guide.
A cozy place to enjoy authentic Japanese food. We ordered rolls, salad, and sashimi. The salmon wrapped crab meat sashimi is my favorite.
Be mindful of their schedule for lunch as they open for only three hours from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

This looks like an Osaka-themed restaurant. Food is quite good but not huge portions. Price is typical of Japanese restaurants. Service was decent but not excellent because there were only 2 people working. The ambience is the highlight of the place. You will feel like being transported to Japan. I think if u take a date, s/he will like it.

The food was great. They were a bit slow to bring us our food but they were packed and had a wait.

> The food was excellent, and the only downside of the restaurant was that the server’s hand movements were a bit too fast.

Chef's choise sushi and Chef's choise sashimi are savory.
It melts in your mouth.
Also, Kaori Bento and Chirashi bowl are really good.
Servers are very kind. 😃

The variety here is great! They offer udon, rolls, sashimi, bento boxes, perfect for any eater. They also have cooked items if you are not into raw food, or vegetarian as well.
With that said, the food is good, but not deserving of a michelin review. I still recommend you go here, as there is nothing wrong with the food, but for a cheaper price, and much nicer atmosphere, you can go to Huntington Ramen a few miles down the road.
I ordered a few rolls, ranging from $9-18 (around the average price in SoCal), and found them to be small compared to others. The bathroom is very run down, and the seating is dark and crowded.

This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to in Fullerton. The food is great, friendly staff, and the aesthetic is cozy. General japanese theme with a variety of fun decorations through out. I like trying to find something new hidden somewhere.
The wait can build quickly as they are popular but small so be sure to get there early.
