Why 4 stars?
Because this place knows exactly what it is. Molca Salsa is a solid late night junk food hero. It is open when you need it, it hits the spot, and it is actually good.
Is it going to impress a date? No. Is it going to become your favorite spot or something you brag about? Also no.
But if it is after the club, you are starving, and you want something tasty, messy, and full of regret, congratulations. You made it.
This is comfort food with zero judgment. Sometimes that is exactly the assignment.

I ordered a California burrito and received a shrimp burrito, I ordered nachos with chips on the side and got nachos with cheese on the side.
The food was good, but the order was just wrong. Good thing I’m not a picky eater I guess.

I got a drink and carne asada burrito for like $17. The meat was so hard and stale and the drink tasted odd like an old refrigerator. That’s what sucks about food nowadays, expensive and it’s trash. Not coming back again.

Very disappointed with the customer service. I arrived at 10:40 PM on Friday the 2nd, and the staff already seemed annoyed that we came in. The older woman and the cook were visibly upset when I placed an order, telling me they close at 10:45—even though their sign clearly says they’re open until 11:00 PM.
It’s really unfortunate because I used to enjoy coming here, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.
