The server lady gave me a lecture about a mistake I did not make. She didn't even wait to listen to my phone number before assuming that I didn't know what I was doing...during the whole lecture I was thinking, "how can this be my mistake that I ordered mixed soon dae...but she's telling me I specifically asked her to take the soon dae out of the order? I guess I'm going to be eating a lot of liver and pig ears tonight". No apologies to me or the guy behind me, who must have been flinching because we were discussing his dinner menu for about 2 ~ 3 minutes with him standing there listening to the whole thing.

I was a big fan of this store but today....so disappointed.... I had a goto spicy soondae soup and there was something suspicious thing in the rice. Really hope this was not that I thought it was...and also there was a piece of plastic on kimchi.. I don't know if I can go and eat at this place again..

For those who don't know, "Soondae" is blood sausage. It was traditionally eaten by peasants in Korea when food was scarce. In the modern day it is a popular street food served with steamed pork liver, lung and an eclectic collection of ear cartilage that have various textures for the palate to enjoy. This establishment is has good food in all front especially the Soondae Soup and my favorite- the "YukGaeJang". Not a high end place by any means, it sticks to its authentic roots in wholesome street food type of dishes that regular and soju drinking Ajushi's patronize. The only issue is the flies. Every time I go there, we had to constantly swat away the flies so they don't sit on our side dishes. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they seemed more nonchalant about it since it is commonplace there. Overall, I would recommend :)

The food was ok but service is awful. I order wrong one. Same order but I only want soondae. I asked about change. They said NO. Because too late but only pass 3 min. The lady said can't change computer. I didn't understand same order but just don't add meat. Is it very hard work?

This is the only place that pops up in my head whenever I'm craving Soondae Guk. The soup itself is very clean taste which is not greasy at all and you can season on your own adding salt or salted shrimp based on your taste. I personally love eating the original broth and adding some spices later at the ends:) btw spicy Soondae Guk is not that crazy spicy, it's just a little more flavorful than the original. And all you need is their Kimchies to eat with!! Very welcoming service as well as neat atmosphere. Recommend this place.

i am so sad to post this. i was just there this morning. found out my favorite "tojong soondae" is not available. i ordered the combo and "yang" stirfry dish. the regular soon dae color was blend water down no flavor and @yang" ( honey comb intestine part) had pork ears red bell pepper and whole lot of carrots except "yang" part. this place is owned by friend of a friend and our family was a huge fan of this korean spot in the middle of fullerton... its so sad that this place going down the drain. bye bye moobongri.....

Moo Bong Ri is one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to in my life. Their soondae is hella bomb and the waitresses have a lot of respect for the most of it. Their top food would be the soondae soup which is real good in my opinion. (just gotta add the ingredients that are set up on the tables) It's also very healthy and supports your immune system. This would be very good food for those people with cardiovascular disease or even high blood pressure. The only problem that I have about this place are the flies. I mean I swear to God, if there were no flies, then that restaurant would definitely be a five-star (hands down) But I get it because the food stains and sweat can smell real intense so flies do tend to fly around. Stop by this place cause they got some good s****

Must try their spicy soon dae gook. It's really flavorful and the portion is big. Sometimes it's a hit and miss here but I will come here to get my soon dae fix. One of the lady servers was rude though. My first time here I asked if I can get spoons and chopsticks and she said IT"S RIGHT THERE and it was in a hidden compartment under the table. How was I suppose to know there was a compartment there? Food is good though.

Barely any soondae, taste isn't so good, poor customer service, and expensive. Not planning to go back. Should have listened to the negative reviews.

Everything was fine until I saw a lady touching my or someone else's food. What the fvck is wrong with the lady ? After seeing that my appetite dropped and couldn't finish my food. This place has no morals what so ever

I love eating here. They have 2 kinds of Soondae. My fav is the one that has meat and veggies. I love their clear broth soup dishes especially the pork belly and beef ribs galbi tang. Ones you've had these you won't be happy with the food court versions. My hubby always orders the spicy soups. Whatever your preference u cant go wrong. I love love their kimchi so fresh and crunchy. Ps. They. have bossam too. I can't wait to try it. It's good for around three people so be prepared.
