I don't get it. the place is empty yet I'm told to wait 1.5 hours before i can be seated. Not a great business strategy and and obviously bad chioce for PR. Nothing like the one in Vegas where service was great. not coming back her for sure.

2.5 hour wait for a table of 4, yet I walked in and saw 8 open grills. When I asked why, the hosts said they were being saved “in case a larger party walks in.” Since you don’t take reservations, that means you’re holding tables empty just in hopes a large group shows up, instead of seating the people already waiting. Why not move the wait along and seat guests? I think that’s literally crazy. So basically, if I showed up with a party of 10, I could skip ahead of everyone else waiting? The opposite thought process for any restaurant ever in business. And how is that even fair to the waiters?

This is the best kbbq spot in socal. Even if its a far drive for us, we always try.to come here. The meat quality is so much better than most places around the area.
The beef belly is probably one of the best plates that I always order multiples times. The banchan is so much, most places give you little amounts, but Mr BBQ gives you many side dishes. All the meats did not disappoint. When we ordered the ribeye from the premium menu, our server, Tommy, brought out a garlic butter for us to use as a base for the meat. Not many places have servers that go out of their way to give you the best experience possible. Also they give you a complimentary ice cream which is nice to cool down with after being near the grill.
Recommend this place to anyone trying it for the first time. Definitely will be back soon. Also try getting on the waitlist on yelp because they do have some crazy wait times, but for being the best kbbq in socal, it's understanding.

To be completely honest, I would never come back here if I had to pay out of my pocket. The main reason is that the quality and taste of the meat are far below expectations for the price. The side dishes were all bland and tasteless, and I could feel no care or effort put into the food. It felt disrespectful to the customers.
The meat itself was simply not good at all -both in quality and flavor. To be frank, it was frustrating and disappointing.
Maybe foreign customers might come for the price, but for me, there's absolutely no reason to return. Our server was nice.
