Patty's cakes made the cake for our wedding!!!

We hadn't heard of Patty's Cakes before but we were referred to them by our venue and oh boy am I glad we used them.

Our wedding was a bit of a challenge because we had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions. I myself have Celiac, while my wife does not and they were more than happy to accommodate us.

First though, I want to describe the tasting experience. They brought out gluten free cupcakes and gave us tastings of all the different possible combinations, to find the perfect match. It was a LOT of fun. They also had a book with all the different ways they could finish our cake and give it the look we wanted.

Initially we were going to make the whole cake gluten-free, because I was worried that was the only way to keep the cake safe for me and the other 5 guests that all had Celiac. Ultimately however we found that the gluten free cake couldn't structurally support a cake of the size we needed, so we decided to make only the top gluten-free. They handled it with such care though, none of us had any reaction whatsoever. I don't even understand how that's possible! I guess they were just really careful!

The cake was DELICIOUS! The cake itself was rich and moist, while the frosting was unbelievably light and airy. It's almost more like a whipped cream in terms of density than a traditional frosting. This was absolutely perfect for a wedding! It wasn't as heavy as other cakes I have had before.

We also got a great arrangement of cookies and cupcakes, including vegan cupcakes for our guests that were vegan.

Oh and the kicker? Instead of having to freeze the top layer to eat a year later, which is apparently tradition. We didn't have to worry about that because they included a free cake one year from our wedding! What other bakery have you heard of that does something like that!?!? This is such a great idea!!

I love this place! The flavor of their cakes and cupcakes is exceptional. I've also ordered delivery to surprise my family, and they deliver very well and very quickly. I love their service.

If you're looking for a vegan sweet treat, definitely check out Patty's! I'm so happy to have a bakery nearby with vegan options, and to make it even better they have great variety with their flavors, all of which are so delicious. Their mini vegan cupcakes are beloved by my household—even my non-vegan family members enjoy them just as much as I do!

Patty cakes was highly recommended by our venue and both my wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better vendor. From scheduling the appointment, follow up and the meeting at their store to the delivery of the cake was seamless, which helped immensely since we were already stressed. From the tasting menu, we were treated with delicious options for the cake. Me wife and I differed with the cake selection, but with their help and suggestion we ended up getting both the red velvet with a strawberry filling and the banana with a cream filling. Our guest couldn’t stop raving how great the cake was. I would highly recommend Patty’s Cakes for any occasion. We can’t thank you enough.
