Aug 8th, 2024-- PAID IN ADVANCE ONLINE two separate orders of moon cakes from 85C Bakery online store.
Sep 16th, 2024-- Found out only ONE Order has shipped, but the other has not. Contacted 85C Bakery Online as to the whereabouts of the second order. Was told they were sold out and they would issue a refund for the missing 2nd order.
When asked why a UPS label was created on August 12th but nothing has happened since then, they became DEFENSIVE and said all orders shipped out. Well, if this were true, then why is my 2nd order missing with UPS website saying they're waiting to receive the package?
The customer service of their online store is quite UNACCEPTABLE. Act like it's no big deal to make a customer submit an order more than a month in advance, waiting a month for the goods, then absolutely no followup nor accountability when informed by customer that the goods were not received.
Then they try to trick you by saying they will offer you free breads and free drinks if you download their app and send them your phone #. I did that too but received nothing.
I'm still waiting for my refund for the missing mooncakes; if I don't get it by the end of this week, I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company for goods paid but not received.
Less than 1 star for customer service.

Drivers stay away from this place! Just like JT mention on his post. This place is horrible to get into. Now they have dumpsters lined up to block the way. Good luck if y’all get here at shift change. The workers will get in your way and they will honk at you when you’re trying to back up.Life’s a risk carnal!!!!

Very bad place to be at. Almost everyone gots the covid 19 supervisor Freddy gots it monica gots it her Brenda gots it. I’ve came across this info my sisters friend who works in hr told her. Am glad I don’t work there. They pay you low and they expect you to do the job.
Beat there employees when I worked there they smacked me behind my neck couldn't speak English dropped pastries on floor still shipped them out to stores in boxes frozen over 50 times in a shift never no questions

I visit 85 Degrees on a daily basis with my kids and we get drinks and pastries. In my younger days I worked in customer service at the Ritz Carton, a 5 Diamond Resort, so I'm very picky. I notice some of your workers make your coffees better than other workers. We visit several of your locations, but today we were at the Chino Hills store. Jesse McKinon stood out to us today, for we received outstanding service and excellent coffee. Thank you for the wonderful experience.Best Regards and keep up the good work 85,Kristine McKinleyP.S. Awful place to work, I can only speak for the Cake (oven section) department. It was disgusting what they had us doing. Just rushing everything with no concern of food regulations or safety codes.
