I came here with my boyfriend and our friend for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. I wasn't too crowded and we came just in time before the kitchen closed at 9pm. I ordered their poutine special of the day with had carne asada and nacho cheese on it, my boyfriend got a bunch of different tacos because it was taco Tuesday and our friend got the Monk burger. My boyfriend and our friend got the beers on tap card. You can pour your own beer here. My boyfriend and our friend got a couple of the craft beers on tap. To drink I got their Hawaiian Mule, which had a nice ginger kick and a fresh orange in it. Our food didn't take too long although it all came at different times. My boyfriend got his tacos first and then I got my poutine and our friend got his burger. The poutine was really good, I liked the nacho cheese sauce and the carne asada was pretty good. The waffle fries were also very crispy. There are lots of tvs here and they were playing the Angel's game which was fun to watch. We sat in a comfy booth and hung out until a few minutes before closing. It was a nice dinner that we enjoyed.

Came here on an early weekend night, definitely more calm compared to other places. Enjoyed the ambience and not overly expensive. It's a self serve beer bar option and if you like unique, this place has it. Not a cocktail bar, they have a very limited menu but if you like beer, this is an option

Can't believe it took us this long to go here! Matt McCune the GM was so personable and showed us the ropes! The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the brussels & sliders. And they have a great beer selection. We will be back! Bringing friends next time.

Yesterday was my first time going to The Pickled Monk. It was great, the food was fantastic, piping hot and fresh. The beer selection was awesome and I love the serve yourself beer taps. I'm definitely coming back!!!

Cool bar/pub in DTF where you can pour your own drinks. You basically get a card at a register, which you can use at the various beer stations to pour however much you want, & close out the card in the end when you want to pay. There's a healthy-sized selection of beers & sprites to pour from including seltzers & wine to ales & IPAs. Food wise, it's your standard typical bar/pub food. Although if you just want something small or shareable, I highly recommend the garlic fries. There's also a lot of TV's around the inside, so it's a good place to catch sports at if you're into that. During rush hours it can get a bit loud inside when it's crowded, but there's also an outdoor patio area which can be less hectic. . TL;DR - cool pub, pour your own beers, lots of TV, come here & drink

First time to the pickled monk and I really loved the atmosphere as well as the food! My favorite thing here was actually the portobello fries. So good! I like thelat this place is tap yourself. I know it's been around but it was my first time seeing it. Workers were really nice and attentive. Deemed it my favorite pub in the area just cause the ambiance is chill and they have great food and drinks!

This is a cool spot to catch a sports game. We stopped in Sunday for a Dodgers game. My husband and I shared some brussels sprouts and had 2 drinks each. I think for the price, its a bit expensive. We spend that much at other restaurants for meals plus drinks. Anyhow, the TVS are spectacular and the bar area has a great vibe. We saw people having brunch and mimosas. That's the more affordable way to go. It looked great. I like the airy feel of this place and I see why it is so popular.

STILL MY FAVORITE SPOT IN DOWNTOWN FULLERTON.Came here Saturday and LOVED IT! Husband loved the serve yourself taps. Great selection! I had the strawberry lime cider out of the vending machine and it was literally the best thing I have ever had to drink. DELICIOUS! We had the sweet potato tots which were amazing, the "chorizo" tacos...yummy, and the Poke..which was AWFUL! It was mushy and had a weird sweet taste, PORTOBELLA FRIES AND SKINNY FRIES ARE A MUST ALWAYS..We then moved on to some mixed drinks. I had the Mango Monkerita and hubby had Jorges Chest. Mine was so tasty but he had to gag his down. I still think this place is top notch. We just have to find and stick to our favorites. The staff is beyond helpful. This place is definitely a great addition to downtown

Great place to get a drink and some good food. They have tons of TVs to watch the games and have craft beer, liquor, and your normal beers on tap. The staff is hard working, respectful, and friendly. They had good deals durning happy hour and taco Tuesday. Recommend this place to everyone in the Fullerton area.

We visited Pickled Monk in Downtown Fullerton for some BBQ Glazed Chicken Wings, served with blue cheese dressing, furikake & pickled vegetables Bring along your appetite and an empty stomach because you'll need them once you see all the tasty food at this local eatery. I'll definitely be coming back. Best wings I've ever had!!!

Awesome food and for the price! I love how you can try different drinks without having to get a full glass of it. I recommend going there during happy hour!

Love this place! We've gone twice now and will definitely keep returning. The atmosphere is nice and I love that they don't have loud music blasting- you can actually hold a conversation without any issues. The beer selection is good- they have a nice variety of beers that isn't IPA-dominated, and they have a few wines and ciders. They even have smaller glasses so you can build your own flight. The food is really good too and came out pretty quickly- the Monk Burger was my favorite and my boyfriend really liked the specialty poutine. Overall this is a nice spot to come grab some drinks/dinner and we are glad it offers a slightly more chill alternative to some of the other bars/clubs in DT Fullerton!

Very interesting pour your own concept. Pro tip: you place the card in the slot and leave it there while you pour vs pulling the card away or holding it there with your hand. The best food here is the shoestring fries. The fries are probably up there as the best fries in OC.

This was a fun, unique place. You manage your own tastings and pours. Almost like a Yogurtland but for beer :) The service was top notch, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxing. We will definitely go back.
