I can never remember the sweet servers name , but when ever I’ve come in she’s been so sweet always holds a great conversation and always very tentative to our group or even if you go solo she always makes sure you’re doing great . Also they play great music here as well

Food is always delicious. Staff are great and helpful. Especially if you’ve never done shabu before. We go at least a few times a month and often once a week it’s so yummy.

Went here with family, first: the food is great, delicious, the service was fast and efficient not gonna lie. BUT - the issues started when we paid, my friend and I split the bill for 4 of us and the staff inadvertently charged us 4 separate times (about $500 in multiple transactions) and claimed it was due to their point-of-sale system being down. It showed on their tablet that the payment was “loading” and so that’s why they kept charging the cards. BUT ALSO: keep in mind, staff was observed to be taking 5 shots of liquor with other customers (within the hour that we were there). Regardless, we disputed the payments with our banks. I received most of my money back but the bank except for 1 charge which I am still owed. Overall, for the entire experience I will not be returning. Food is good, but not worth the inconvenience. Go at your risk I guess 🤷🏻♂️

I used their bathroom twice as the nearby ice cream shop didn't have one.
Looked like a trendy, modern bar by passing in the window and on my way to the restroom.
However, after using the bathroom the second time, the waitress was complaining about myself using their restroom when I was trying to order their expensive Fuji water as I wasn't hungry at that point.
They treated me less than a human being.
The owner actually attempted to call the police on me about the restroom debebcle and several intoxicated patron were yelling at him and mocking me as they had their fun.
Boy, must I have fun tonight...

Great first experience after passing by it for years.
It had to do with the bill the server gave herself an extra tip on my card I had put a specific amount but she took the card device before it could process. I didn't notice until days later that the meal ended up 10 bucks more expensive due to her giving herself a larger tip. That's not cool or honest of the restaurant to allow that to happen.

This is my favorite shabu place in OC. It's a little out of the way for me, but I am willing to make the trip. The flavor of the broth is on point, the presentation of the proteins and veggies is nice, and the appetizers...the apps! Such a good selection where other shabu places fall short. On top of that, service is really attentive and you can tell they do their best.
