I thought it may have just been me being impatient the first time I was here, but it happened a second and third time, so I had to go to the reviews. Yup, customer service and wait time are absurd here! It's a shame because it's in such a nice location. 🤦♂️

extremely slow service. everytime i go through the drive through around 5pm it takes 15 min even though im the third car in line. sandra always has an attitude and doesn’t great or smile. she will ask you to tip with a straight face and hand you your drink with no words.

I stop by this Starbucks pretty often, and today I was super impressed! There’s a new assistant manager, Annalyssa, and you can instantly feel the difference. She actually came over to chat, asked about my usual order, and just genuinely wanted to get to know her customers. It wasn’t forced or fake — you can tell she really cares about creating a welcoming vibe. With her kind energy and attitude, this store already feels so much more inviting. Big shoutout to her — customer service like that makes all the difference!

I’ve been coming here since we moved to Placentia 2 years and they always seem to be understaff, poor management. The wait times are insanely long. I even started putting it in my order before we head over and we still wait 20 minutes for drinks

The service response to time to place an order is ungodly. I waited for 5 minutes in around 5ish am with a full staff & still didn't get served. This generation Z has awful customer service skills. Keep in mind, this is with no one standing in line. Half of the staff were just pretending to be busy. There's no drive thru orders, no one standing in line but me... it's sad it's come to this. It's no wonder why no one in 🇺🇸 wants to wake up for them. God have mercy on this nation!

Live locally and this is the easiest option for me when I want Starbucks but this location is terrible. 95% of the time I come here, service and attitudes are poor. I don't expect anything grand. Just basic courtesy but the tone of the employees is always dismissive and they seem unhappy. It’s very off putting.

The new remodel is a big let down for those of us that come in to study and get some work done.
They took out some seating so its more limited. Brightly lit instead of the darker setting it was. The music is usually too loud but now that they reduced the space, it sounds louder. On top of the people trying to have a conversation and the baristas working.
Idk what's going on up in corporate but they are missing a huge demographic being close to college town from CSUF and the other high schools around the area.
hispanic red hair girl was absoutly rude, i asked for her a refund for my drink for a pastry and she was rolling her eyes and told me she has too much going on and she’ll give me the rest of the refund later if i didn’t bring it up i wouldn’t of got my money and jsut the pastry. She always giving side comments about me to other workers. The beard guy also didn’t add the whole amount that i was supposed to get back (the cold foam).

The last time I was here, the girl charged me and gave me 1 out of my 2 drinks and then left to go do who knows what. I could see her off to the side while I stared at my second drink. I finally got someone else's attention and they gave me my other drink.
