I just wanted to give The Cellar a shout out for supporting the fundraiser for Golden Hill Elementary school in Fullerton with 2 generous giftcards. Not only is this restaurant and craft cocktails AMAZING but the owners support their community! If you have never been, please go and splurge on this incredible dining experience... it is worth it! Neat history that I just learned... the same architect that designed Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland also designed The Cellar.THANK YOU for being a landmark here is Fullerton and supporting your community!!!!

Perfect place to celebrate a romantic time together, plus unexpected appreciation of anyone with military service. Loved the staff and the unique alcohol drinks.

We came here twice, and the experience were fantastic. Highly recommend to reserve a table, especially during weekend because this place is very popular. Street parking is available. The restaurant is located underground with stone wall decorations. It reminds me of a restaurant in France. Servers were very friendly. We ordered the Classic chateaubriand, which is good enough for 2 people to share. Steak was tender with great seasoning, but not overpowering. We also tried the creme brûlée and chocolate soufflé with salted caramel sauce. I love the chocolate soufflé, chocolate flavor is very rich. Creme brûlée is very smooth!

The guy who designed Pirates of the Caribbean designed this restaurant. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here. Apparently we got the Elizabeth Taylor booth - it was quiet, private, and romantic. Everything was as you would expect from fine dining.Wheelchair accessibility: None that I saw. It’s a cellar from 1920-something, so if there was an ADA-compliant upgrade made, I couldn’t find it. The stairs feel steep but are navigable.

We were there with a party of 20 last night. The food was very good, prices are a little over the top. The service was great. Our server had a challenge with space and our party but got everything out to us correctly. I belive her name was

Very upset with our dining experience. I made reseravations two months in advance for my wife's birthday. She was so looking forward to a nice romantic meal. I will say the waitress was very nice, and the ambience was quiet and romantic. However, the food was an utter and total letdown. My wife had Salmon that was completely tasteless and without any flavor, as if it was steamed, not pan broiled. My venison was acceptable and I was happy with it. Now the really bad stuff: 1) the wine quality was poor and prices were high. We both ordered a side of garlic mashed potatos and received the smallest serving I have ever seen, and zero garlic flavor. $15 each!, and we received less than one potato's worth off absolutely nothing. This was the biggest disapointment of the meal and an absolute rip-off. Next we each had a souffle and they were small and flavorless. And to top it off, even though our server knew it was my wife's birthday, she said nothing about it, and then brings my wife a "free" creme brulee after she had tried to finish her soufle. This was such a bad experience and really let my wife down on her birthday. And I paid $277 for this nightmare. Never coming back.

Beautiful restaurant inside of and actual wine cellar. Very romantic and ambiance is nice. But the real star of the show is the food and dessert. Everything was done very authentically in European cuisine. The dessert was crafted perfect and tasted exactly as I had in France. Highly recommend it.

The food, drinks, and service was above and beyond. The parking situation and location (dark basement area) was less than ideal, however I would recommend this place for good fine dining 9 out of 10 times!

Over priced!!! Trying to be Mastros but more like Applebees. Steak and mushrooms were cold when arrived. Terrible experience and do not recommend s this restaurant Wait for drinks and refills is unacceptable Staff are immature college students Really this place needs to reassess the menu and service. Will dissuade all my friends and colleagues from ever dining here. Recommendations: STAY AWAY!

Bernadette was a great server. The bar was well stocked-even knew how to make a Carajillo for me. The dining area is close quarters but the other patrons were enjoying quiet conversation and were friendly to chat with. Nice experience in a really cool cave-like atmosphere. Going back soon!
