Great food, great wine, great service! We walked in on a Saturday night & were seated right away. The ambiance is dark & cozy. We ordered my new favorite wine - 2022 Stolpman - "La Cuadrilla" - Ballard Canyon, Ca Concentrated yet light on its feet with bright acidity, dusty tannins and a long, spicy finish. Blend of 75% Syrah,15%
Granache and 10% Sangiovese.

With a side of olives and their famous baked Brie bowl. Must get the bread bowl. Perfect combo with the wine.

Twisted Vine is my favorite Wine Bar in Orange County. My husband and I make our way over there as often as we can. They have a nice selection of appetizers, meals, and wine. My go-to is the (Red Wine Flight) which changes every Wednesday and garlic bread (so ridiculously good).I've never had a bad glass of wine here, in fact I usually end up walking away with 1-4 bottles of wine for my wine cooler. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly and casual. The atmosphere is relaxing, with darker woods, richer colors, and dimmed lighting. This is a great spot for a date night, after work drinks, or catching up with friends. If you live in the area and love wine be sure to check this spot out, they also offer a wine club (Cellar Pass). I am a member and quite enjoy it.

Parking: There is parking on the street in front of Twisted Vine, in 2 parking lots directly behind Twisted Vine (near Ace Hardware). There is free street parking behind Twisted Vine on Amerige Ave. If you are going at a busy time this is probably where you will end up parking. The area is very safe, there is a police station and public library nearby.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the place but was taken aback by one of the servers (short male w/ glasses) when he condescendingly responded to us when we asked to taste the wines before committing to a glass. I wasn’t aware of the tasting policy prior to this experience, but I wish I was told in a more civilized manner. We appreciated our service from the other servers, but this soured our experience to never come back again

The owners are so amazing. The wine club is the best. Chef Alexis will be missed though.

The Twisted Vine has a funky old school kinda vibe. My first visit here and it was perfect for a first date. Not too dark, not too loud with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
They serve wine by the glass or bottle. Between the 2 of us, we tried three different wines, a pinot noir and a red blend, which were both very good and a McPrice Myers Cab, which was excellent.
I didn't rate the food as we didn't order any, but the food I observed other customers being served looked appealing and delicious.
I give this place my highest recommendation. It's definitely worth a visit.

Parking: My data and I arrived separately, and we were both able to find street parking. There is a large paid ($5 fee) public parking lot behind the building, but as our visit was on a Saturday night, the lot was full.

We had a wonderful time at our old friend gathering in this setting. The atmosphere, wine, and service all contributed to a memorable experience. We began with a bottle of Malbec, a delightful Argentine red wine, accompanied by a cheese platter and empanadas. Despite the lively ambiance making conversation a bit challenging at times, we cherished the opportunity to reconnect and reminisce on over 40 years of friendship. Our time in downtown Fullerton left us with yet another cherished memory, adding to its status as a historic landmark of dining experiences and lasting memories.

Two servers came to our table eight times to ask if we were going to order more glasses. I would’ve understood if it was packed but half the tables were empty and it wasn’t busy at all. It was so uncomfortable to say multiple times that no, we will not be ordering more glasses or food. We left early because the waitresses kept hounding us to order more and just gave us our check without asking as if to say if you’re not going to order more, hurry up and leave. Why do your servers keep bothering customers to order more?

This wine bar was really beautiful. The ambiance was amazing. Gorgeous decorations for the season. The prices of the flights and the bottles were very good. The service not so much. When we came in the server greeted us and then ignored us. We got our first flight very quickly but the server didn't offer any information about the wines at all. We go into wine bars fairly often and what we love about them is the enthusiasm of the servers about the wine, we like to have the wine explained to us at least a little. This woman took our order. She brought our flight very quickly and ran away. We got no personal explanations or anything about any of these wines. And we wanted to order food and we told her we wanted to order food and the water that we had asked for at least 15 minutes earlier. She was closing another couples order out and I said hey we're going to order some food and can we please have our glass of water that we ordered earlier. She said yeah I'll Get to you as soon as I possibly can. 15 minutes later we finally got our water and she plopped it down on our table and ran off before we could order any food. We would have ordered food and probably ordered another glass of wine from the tasting menu that we enjoyed but we ended up just leaving.

Met a girlfriend here for drinks and snacks. We had a great time. The food was excellent. The service was fantastic.

Parking: Make sure you read the signs in and around this area of Fullerton. In the evenings, they do charge for parking. If you go in the afternoon, it's usually free to park.

The ambiance is dim, setting an intimate tone, but it might be too dark for some. This place solely offers high top chairs for seating, which may not be the most comfortable choice for extended periods of dining.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.

I opted for the Santa Barbara red wine flight but found none of the selections enjoyable. The baked brie was the standout dish, absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The smoked chicken empanadas were okay, but the accompanying sauce didn't complement them well.

First time going to a wine bar! I was amazed at the atmosphere! The lighting is dim and had a very nice vibe. I got a glass of the Moulin de Gassac rosè which was a sweet white wine. It was my first time trying the cheese and charcuterie and it felt really fancy~ we went when they were doing last calls but the service was still great! Thank you! Will be back to try the other wines!!
