The Thursday night manager is a liar, first she charged me $10 each for 2 Tito's. $20 total, so I tipped $2, then she came and said she forgot the drinks were actually $13 each and I needed to pay $26 for my drinks. So I gave her an additional $4 because I had already given her $22. So at this point I've now given her $26 total. She thought she still deserved a tip and didn't apply all the cash I had given her to my bill saying I only paid $24 & refused to pay. I did pay for all my drinks & that's a fact, but I didn't pay for her shitty attitude. Truthfully, that place was whack anyway, it was dead and had a horrible vibe - never again! What a miserable place run by a miserable staff! So not the 80s - I'm sorry you hate your job! Moving up to management sucks, probably why you took my $2 and didn't apply it to my tab like you knew you should've!

I went there with a friend from LA and another friend from Costa Mesa. We were looking forward to the Depeche Mode Tribute, so I didn’t mind driving 1.5 hours to that venue. Unfortunately, the female manager would not accept my friend’s copy of his lost Driver’s License, or a screenshot of his Brazilian passport. And even after showing her his official Brazilian ID card, she refused it and continued not to allow us in. Our night was ruined. We drove back to LA quite upset and frustrated. It wasn’t our first time there, but it will be our last. Shane on you, Totally 80’s Bar!!!

It's a disgrace to the name Totally 80's. Starting from the parking lot. Such a small parking lot. They only accept cash to pay for general admissions. Dj was the worst. Played the worst songs he could find from 80s or I don't no which Era he is from. The live band played all heavy metal and Hispanic songs. Holds a credit card and DL the entire night to keep a tab!. Will not recommend this place, better places out there for that cost. This was our first time here would be the last.

They do not have any sense of customer service. The manager thinks she owns the place, and things will only happen according to what she has to say. The inside atmosphere is like trash, dirty, and felt like we could barely breathe. Hopefully, the owner of this place can take steps to first hire a manager who has some sense in hospitality and not some random person. Finding parking is also a nightmare. There are only limited parking spots, so customers have to park a mile away on the residential street. I'm glad we didn't get to order any food.àqq

So if you want to dance 80' s music this is the place to be. This is why it got 2 stars. Service was horrible. Let's get to the nit and gritty of it. We went as a family and friends get together. About 50 to 60 in our party. First of all, they don't let you In until 8pm, so this is where the service failed. Once they let us in, as you can imagine, we got our tables and were assigned only 1 waitress. Imagine taking that many orders and only having 1 bartender fill them. They didn't want us walking over to the bar( I did anyways a lot faster) because if you have a table, they expect you to order from the waitress, as if that was going to go much quicker. Only 2 bartenders 1 for the waitresses and 1 for the bar. The bar was a lot faster but kept making small mistakes. It sucks but when you're that busy, it is going to happen. Unfortunately, for her it this did not go well with many in my party. I personally know and have experienced these types of issues due to poor management. You can not have an opening as they do and expect to supply and demand with the very un-experinced and understaffed location. The DJ git then 2 stars as he was great with the music. I will not go there with a large group, but from what I experienced, even for a couples night, this would not be a Not unless you did pre- warm up at another bar or home and just went there to dance. Hope the other 2 locations are better, but Fullerton will not be getting any of my or pretty much 50 of our party business again. I have seen people complain about the parking, but that's anywhere you go it is small, but there is parking around if you are willing to walk about 1/2 a block. Food I have no issue with its typical bar edible food. If you want 5 star food? Go to a restaurant, a night club is not the place for it. Do you want some quick fixes? Open sooner so that you let the crowd ease into the bar, you will have less of a rush and ease the pressure on your bar. Hire another bartender if you won't open early so that you have 2 of them taking care of th jne overworked waitresses. Get a new manager as she was horrible and made the bar and waitresses more stressed and less helpful. By the way, she has no clue what she is doing. If she indeed was the manager. The service was excellent everyone was very nice at this place. The food and drinks were amazing. It's a mix crowd I recommend it. Music is great!!!!
This place has a good vibe but totally not worth it. First the parking is small you have to get there early & I mean super early to get parking. Once you find a parking space you have to get in line to get in. Once you're in & ready to pay the cover charge is cash only. They do have a ATM machine inside but their is also a huge line to use it. Don't forget to bring your ID otherwise you won't be able to get in. The security guard was nice & let me go get in from my car. He made sure I did not loose my place in line. The way I took it, They let the VIPs go in first. Others wait in line. Once you get in, if you did not reserve a vip table you will be seated on the worst part of the club. I will call it the boring section. There are only a few small TVs and I mean small TVs, tables & chairs you would not be able to see the stage. There is this huge wall covering the stage. The club is shape like a J. I'm my opinion it's the worst shape for a club. Once you get out to the dance floor it's a really good vibe the music is nice the people are drinking having a good time. The drinks are good reasonably priced. I recommend the big fish bowl. It's comes with a flashing ice cube making it look really nice. It's big enough to last you the whole night. I did not try the food so I can't review the food. I also did not like that the waitress keeps your credit card to run a tap, I get it, but that made me a little uncomfortable. The waitress was super nice very attentive to us. Would I recommend this place only if you reserved a VIP table otherwise no I don't, save your money there are better places out here.
