I cannot say enough great things about Kai and team. We selected Hawaiian package: chicken, tri-tip, seared ahi tacos, Hawaiian rice, green beans (no mushrooms), fruit and rolls. The chicken was very tasty, the meat so tender and the ahi was so good! Set up was on time and there was plenty of food for everyone! The entertainment was way better than I ever could have expected! I'm so very, very happy about the whole night. I highly recommend Touch of Paradise Catering! Thank you Kai and team!

I wouldn't recommend this place. I had a bad feeling when, the day before, he didn’t even remember our order, so I had to remind him twice. He charges for every little thing, so save your money and don’t pay extra for the decor. He also forgot to list some items on the invoice, which we had to add at the last minute.

The major issues started when all my other vendors set up with ez ups , but his team didn’t. I called him to express how unprofessional his team appeared, and he said it would cost extra for them to use an ez-up tent, suggesting instead that they work under our tent. He also dismissed our 50-person party as 'small,' saying the food would go fast, etc. He was very rude and took no accountability for any mistakes.

To make matters worse, the chicken kabobs were inedible, with a texture like cotton balls—yes, cotton balls. It was as if they boiled the chicken or did something else equally terrible, and everyone complained about it. The only decent dish was the pork ribs, but that’s it. I paid $17.50 per person, and it wasn’t worth it.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!! Touch of Paradise was recommended to me by my friend at work who has used their services for a variety of corporate functions. I reached out to them with very little notice and thankfully they had availability to cater the food with drop-off service.

We ordered food for 80 people - roasted chicken, tri-tip with au jus, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, green salad with Italian and ranch, and bread and butter. People RAVED about the food. It was delicious!

Food arrived on-time, with hot dishes still being hot. Everything packaged well and looked appetizing. They even sent forks, knives, plates, and napkins, which I wasn't expecting.

Kai was always available by text, phone. or email for my many questions, and absolutely accommodated all of my needs.

Touch of Paradise Catering was professional and on time with their service and food. Kai was super friendly and helpful through the whole booking and responding right away. He even helps us to find a server very last minute to help out in setting up tables. His crew were arriving and setting up right on time. The food was delicious and perfect portion for our guests. I would give it 10 out of 10 on pricing and service. Recommend to book them for your wedding event.

Touch of Paradise catered the Fullerton Senior Club Annual Meeting and Christmas Party. We were so very happy with all aspects in dealing with this company. Food was delicious servers were excellent and our members were happy. We had close to 140 people at the event. I recommend them to all.

So thankful I found Touch of Paradise Catering for my wedding! I just referred him to my friend so I thought of writing a review. Kai was a great communicator throughout the planning process & THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We had the herb chicken and the chicken was so juicy and heavenly (unlike other wedding food I’ve tried). WOW ! I had a 65th birthday/retirement party for my hubby yesterday. We love Hawaii and I wanted Hawaiian food. I found Touch of Paradise in my search for caterers. I called Kai and since I had already looked over the menus on the website, he made it very easy for the booking process. His communication is excellent. His staff was amazing and the food was just to die for. All of my guests loved it. Has a surprise for my husband, I also booked the Hawaiian dancers. Talk about professional, they were entertaining, amazing, funny and generally got the crowd going! I struck gold when I found Touch of paradise! Thank you Kai and staff!!!

We recently had a 50th Anniversary Party catered by Touch of Paradise. It was absolutely perfect. We had the best coconut shrimp, meatballs and spring rolls appitizer along with a wonderful teriyaki chicken, pork and all the fixings meal. Kai's staff were professional, showed up early, served and cleaned up perfectly. The absolute hit of our evening was the luau entertainment provided at Kai's suggestion. The dancers and fire knife show was fabulous. Kai was wonderful to contract with and very responsive. It was truly a night to remember. Thank you Touch of Paradise. Linda K.

Attended a community event in Irvine. Best catered dinner we have had in delicious! Husband and I shared the Tri tip and salmon- both were so so delicious!

Kai and his team made my daughter's Pharmacy Graduation Brunch a total success. The food was great, on time and the servers were especially kind. Some guests were even asking for business cards. Kai is professional and delivered the menu as I requested. He is also a good communicator. I would definitely use him again for future events.

Recently, I had to plan a post-funeral gathering from Illinois, with the funeral in Santa Ana. Touch of Paradise (Kai!) was great!We had the gathering in a local park and ToP took care of all the food, beverages and utensils like a pro! Plus, the food was delicious. Everyone kept talking about how good it was. It really lightened up the whole mood of the group.

Chef Kai and his staff are down to earth, easy to work with and creative. My parties have never been more fun. Chef Kai will create the perfect menu for your event & budget... And their food is kid approved, which is a huge bonus!!

Best food, best service & nicest crew I have ever hired!! Btw try the teriyaki chicken... My kids couldn't get enough!
