This place is awesome! Reasonable pricing, considerable portions and the employees are consistently very nice.

The place offers a great range of delicious food. I love dining here. Employees are always very friendly, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always well organised.

This place was great. Took my fiance there for his birthday the food was fantastic. I was told it's going to be changing ownerships but they have big plans for it to be even more fantastic and entertaining. We tried the bone marrow which was awesome as was the fried Chicken skins

I had heard about this place and how incredible it was, so last week I made reservations for two on Dec 7th at 7pm for my birthday. The reservation was confirmed and again the day before, I got a follow up asking me to confirm again and I did. We grabbed an Uber ride there and to my surprise, the restaurant has been shut down permanently or at least temporarily. Luckily for me, we were able to walk a short distance to Stubriks Steakhouse and grab awesome bacon wrapped fillets! So, need I say more?

The most beautiful bar in the Fullerton area can be found here at Wreckless. I was quite impressed by the eclectic downtown Chicago or even New York feel from the restaurants overall vibe. The decor is quite stunning and designed with great detail. Got a company party? Host it here. Special occasion? Celebrate it here. On a hot date? Impress them with the best charcuterie board and bottle of wine. This is definitely a hidden gem that serves high end chef creations but very affordable. So what to order here? I strongly recommend the bone marrow. It's served with baguette bread and condiments that you can build to make your own gourmet tasting bahn mi sandwich. This has to be the best bone marrow dish I've tried so far. Good appetizer to share with another person. For the entree I've tried the pork belly and the fish. I love how the chef incorporates some Asian flavor to the dish in a very subtle way. I was impressed by the plating and presentation of each dish. If I had to choose between the pork or fish, I would order the fish again. That's because I've enjoyed the bone marrow so much that my palate was leaning more towards seafood. I also got the burrata and fig salad which helped balance out all the other protein dishes. The charcuterie board had an assortment of everything that was my favorite. I've always had this where there would be one or more things I wasn't fond of. But not this time! I wouldn't coming back here just to enjoy a quiet Friday night with some wine and this charcuterie board. Loved this very much! The cocktails that I've tried were seasonal and fun! One of them tastes like Christmas and was presented on a bed of fluffy cotton candy! How cute is that! If you happen to visit this restaurant, make sure to order their signature cocktails and admire the ambience of their spectacular bar area! Great food, amazing service and fabulous vibe! What more can you ask for other than another glass of martini with an extra olive! Must try to appreciate this awesome restaurant in downtown Fullerton! I'm really sorry. This was such a disappointing experience. Coming here with our nephew and his wife, we were excited to try this new place. We each had the butternut squash bisque - excellent texture and flavor. Unfortunately, it was on the cold side of lukewarm and so was each entree served afterward. I had the pork which looked good but was dry and relatively flavorless. My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out well done. The other entrees served were mediocre at best. We were not pleased with the tastes or textures and definitely not when the bill came as it was high end pricing for food not enjoyed. Not willing to try again and not recommended. All that being said, the wait staff was very friendly.

I've not done Yelp reviews for a long time now, but dinner at Wreckless tonight was simply too great to be Yelp lazy. I just had the best gnocchi of my life (and my wife who took several bites agreed). She and the wife of the couples dining with us had the John Dory and absolutely loved it. The husband of the couple with us had the Duroc Pork Porterhouse and also raved. We shared appetizers: fig and burrata salad and fried Brussel sprouts....super yum on both. Finally, my wife and I both had the butternut bisque soup and it was just about perfect. Cocktails were also unique and great. Portions were larger than we expected...they are not skimping at all. The restaurant itself is beautiful and classy. Wreckless is on the pricier side, so it is not a weekly occurrence, but coming here about once a month makes total sense to be wowed with great food!

I came in prepared to enjoy a lovely meal and left with an upset stomach. Ambiance: someone spent a lot of time and effort on the decor. Everything is monogrammed. Wine glasses! The rose gold wine bucket! Plates! All the way down to the LED rechargeable table lights and the pinpoint light swirling outside the bathrooms. It's all a bit precious. The bathrooms are both gender neutral and completely matched, down to the same orangutang art. The hostess who greeted us was warm and professional. Unfortunately, the kitchen is the weakest link. We had the chicken skins and the marrow bones for appetizers. The chicken skins took inspiration from Filipino chicken skin chicharrón. But the heavy handed application of the vinegar sauce turned a light crisp texture into flaccid, gummy bites that were so vinegary my dining companion started coughing. The marrow bones, like the chicken skins, showed a southeast Asian flair, served with fried garlic, pickled red onions, thai basil and cilantro. There just wasn't much marrow to the plate, unfortunately. We also tried the beet salad. Small chunks of roasted red and yellow beets were arranged on a sweet crust and topped with perfectly dressed watercress. The salad came plated on a cross section of a tree trunk which was rather at odds with the extremely polished look that otherwise dominated the rest of the restaurant design. There was a strange sweet sugar crust below the beets, which blended perfectly into the bark on the wood. By this point, we had to return the whisky cocktail because it didn't taste like there was any whiskey in it at all. The wine list is severely lacking: the list of wines by the bottle does not have any white wines beyond those available by the glass. Another bad sign. We ordered a rib eye steak, medium rare. We got back a well done steak - we cut into the middle and after we got around the golf ball sized nugget of fat, saw that the steak was cooked well done, with only the faintest hint of pink closest to the bone. It had to be sent back. The restaurant sent out brussel sprouts that were so soggy and vinegary that they were inedible. Not a good precursor to the second round with the steak, which came back seared on the outside and totally raw on the inside. The steak was cold on the inside. Medium rare should not be this difficult for a competent kitchen. The dessert was billed as a lychee creme brulee. Unfortunately, the custard was curdled and grainy, which should have been readily visually apparent to the person who made it. There is that old saying about not judging a book by the cover, which people usually use when a restaurant has a humble exterior but an amazing soul in the kitchen. Wreckless is a bit of a wreck packaged in a very fancy shell. The waiter admitted that they don't have the staff taste the food that they are serving, which I suppose is makes sense when the results are this uneven. When you spend more than $200 on a meal, you tend to expect good food...which Wreckless can not deliver unfortunately.

Came here on a date night with my hubby, he had raved about the food after coming here one night with friends. But I have to say we were both really disappointed with the food. My husband got the burger because really their menu just wasn't that appealing... and that was the only thing that sounded good to him. He said it was awful and the texture was just off, and he's not that picky. I had the gnocchi and it was just ok. We each had 2 drinks and the bill was $120. Too expensive for the quality of the food. One saving grace was the servers were very attentive and friendly. We found out that the old chef left a couple months back, and this new chef leaves much to be desired. It's a shame because I like the ambiance of the restaurant, the servers and the location. We need good restaurants in Fullerton, I hope the kitchen can step up their game.... but sadly we won't be back.

This food was mediocre and so very disappointing for the ridiculous cost. We ordered the 26 oz ribeye and it was incredibly salty and undercooked (asked for medium rare and received rare). The potatoes au gratin were underdone and lacking cheese. Each dish came out different (multiple people ordered the potatoes). It was literally freezing in there and warmer outside, literally all the men were cold. The service was worse than the food if you can believe it, literally no one in there and things were forgotten, we received out steak and due to it being so cold inside the food would get cold VERY QUICKLY. We had to ask for a knife multiple times....I hope this place goes out of business. We could have went to Ruths Chris and spent the same amount for 100% better food...RIP OFF

I'm really at a loss on this one. This has been one of favorite places since it opened. We've brought several family members and friends too. Met some family there last Tuesday and it was a total fiasco. First they didn't have the wine one of our group wanted. That happens though. Do he picked another one and asked for a sample to be sure. The waiter came back a few minutes later and said they couldn't give him a sample because the bottle wasn't open. What? So he asked if they would open it he ordered a glass of it. Well of course was the response. My wife wanted one of the fish plates but they were out. So she ordered the scallops. $30 for 3 scallops? Well, that's all we have. SMH. There were a couple of other problems that really aren't worth mentioning. So they went from one our go too places, to a place we're not sure we'll go back to.
