Brewsters Kitchen & Cocktails is a stellar five star establishment in Galt, perfectly blending high quality elevated pub fare with a destination worthy craft cocktail program. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a mix of vintage and contemporary decor, including a tin ceiling contrasted with old wooden floors. Lighting isn't harsh, making the place look warm. The outdoor seating is a great option. The staff obviously love their job; they are friendly and attentive, providing great service. The food is excellent. The menu is focused on doing a few things very well at reasonable prices. Must-try items include the French dip, which is amazing, and the Philly Cheesesteak. The Saturday night prime rib and ribeye steak specials are cooked to temperature with good flavor, served with garlic mashed potatoes, a side salad with awesome house-made garlic croutons, and sauteed veggies. The chicken lettuce cups are tasty with a nice balance of heat and acidity, and shredded coconut adds subtle sweetness. The bar is back in full swing with all the usuals and about a dozen house specialty mixed drinks, including a raspberry lemondrop and Modelo draft. With friendly service and excellent food, Brewsters is the ultimate local destination making a strong comeback under new owners.
