Tonight’s dinner was barely edible. First I tried the aguachile and all it had in the way of flavor was HEAT. I was really hungry, but it just wouldn’t go down. Then I ordered tacos, thinking it would be better, but when they arrived, the meat was cold and visibly dried out. We ended up getting containers for our meals and gave them to a person on the street who was hungry. Ended up spending about $60 for some pretty unpleasant food.

I really want to like El Cora, but I just can’t. The waitstaff was very nice though.

This was the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. Dust and food everywhere, old stains on walls. Servers don't even know the menu, lack communication between kitchen and servers, and food sitting in the window while coworkers talk. The list goes on..... I had to send my food back once, and the server ran away before I could even finish talking. The meat is too salty. The only good thing was their rice, even the chips and salsa were a let down.

Refreshing. After days of meh food on our road trip, this was a very pleasant surprise. Enjoyed the fish taco, chess enchilada and cold beer. Great friendly staff, sat at the bar and enjoyed football. Highly recommended. Split with my wife, both were fantastic! Stop here.

Amazing place with authentic Mexican food. We ordered pozole, fajitas, tacos and carne asada. Everything was on point. Service was great and food was ready in about 15 min. Highly recommended

Worst Mexican food i have ever had in California...... if I closed my eyes I wouldn't know it was Mexican food.. beef was dry flavorless and seemed 3 days old.. the rice was bland the beans were 100% lard. wifes enchilada sauce was just tomato sauce and to top it off the chips were hard and on the verge of being stale..... usually give places 3 tries but I will not be back.

Very good selection of entrees & desserts. I had the Carne Asada platter & my husband had steak tacos with rice & beans- everything was delicious! Enjoyed their fresh salsa & chips, too.

Traveling the back roads of California, we were tired of the usual American Diner experience and wanted something different.

We found El Cora via Google Maps. Located just off the main road, it was a great find. Free chips with two different salsa. Excellent tacos, both fish and carne asada. It was very good Mexican food and we left, happy. Good pricing. Good service.
