If you've never had a Korean hot dog come to this place. Get the potato dog. I didn't like the sugar on it, but to each their own ?Kid-friendliness: Kids love hot dogs

Ok I now LOVE Korean hog dogs!!! I love regular corn dogs but these really put a new delicious spin on them. The batter is lighter and more fluffy, the outer layer is crispy, the unique "topping" on the outer portion really changes up the taste and texture. It's a textural bliss. Add some sauces and you're golden. Price is reasonable, in my opinion, for a relatively giant corn dog.

The combinations of sauces and powders with the delicious crispy cheesy corn dogs is so top tier. My fave Korean corndog place in OC.

Myungrang Hot Dog, known for its Korean-style hot dogs, unfortunately left me with an unsatisfactory experience. While the concept of this fast food joint is unique and I was excited about their diverse menu, several aspects marred my overall encounter. The most notable point of contention was the $5 minimum requirement for card payments. This policy resulted in an inconvenient circumstance where I was compelled to purchase more than what I intended, as a single hot dog was priced just short of this minimum at $4.89. This experience felt somewhat exploitative, as I was essentially forced to overspend or opt for a payment method I was not comfortable with.On the subject of the hot dogs themselves, I was disappointed to find inconsistencies in my order. Not only were there instances of missing hot dogs, but even the cheese variety seemed to be arbitrarily chosen, with no adherence to my specific order. The errors in the orders might be excusable if they were isolated incidents, but they have been a consistent problem, which undermines the overall quality and reliability of the establishment. The condiments policy has also undergone a disheartening shift. In the past, Myungrang offered bottled sauces and small containers that could be taken on the go. This policy has unfortunately been discontinued, and customers are now given small quantities of sauce upon request. This change detracts from the overall value and convenience of the meal, as it seems the management is more focused on cost-saving than customer satisfaction.Lastly, I am compelled to mention the perceived attitude of the owner or management of this establishment. It is my impression that a great deal of the establishment's shortcomings are a result of decisions intended to save costs at the expense of the customer experience. Such a mentality is not conducive to building a loyal customer base or fostering a welcoming atmosphere. In summary, Myungrang Hot Dog, though it boasts a promising menu of Korean-style hot dogs, falls short in terms of service, policy, and overall experience. As it stands, I cannot recommend it to anyone in its current state. The shortcomings in terms of payment policy, order accuracy, and condiments policy are quite disappointing, as they point to a worrying lack of customer focus. In light of these issues, I believe that potential customers should consider other alternatives when in the mood for a hot dog.

This is my favorite Korean hotdog to go to if I ever want a bomb a** cheese pulls. The lychee lemonade was delicious and not too sweet. It was my first time trying their lemonades here & I had this hot dog before at the other myungrang. The employees are very nice & friendly. The store is very nice, clean, and aesthetic. If you have the five star app it sometimes gives you free deals on food or drink. I would definitely come back here if I'm craving for a hotdog.

Food was good but I didn’t understand the menu. The server was very nice but there is no bathroom and only four seats in the whole restaurant. Would have taken it to go if I had that option.

I really want to like this place but it lacks the welcoming and appreciative feeling of the business. We want to try a new place instead of the usually mochinut but the manager/owner was rude and mean. We ordered 4 hot dogs and sat down to eat. I took the sauce to my table for my kids to use and of course there weren't anyone I else in the place at that moment. I didn't want my girls to make a mess at tiny counter and us 4 hovering over at the counter. Didn't even get to use yet then the manager/owner walked over and snatched those bottles away with rude tone "these belongs at the counter". We decided not to use the sauce, ate quickly and left. Kinda sad to pay $30 for 4 hot dogs to ruin in a nice Sunday afternoon when you run in to such rude people.

This spot is right near H-Mart and near tons of korean food. I love stopping by here after my way from Hmart since it is convenient and their prices are cheaper than what I have seen around the area. It has tons of options for Korean corn dogs! I would recommend the original hot dog or the half cheese half hot dog. They make it right in front of you so you can see it on the side of the window of how they make the corn dog. They ask if you want sugar on top and I would definitely recommend that. I usually pair it with Thai chili sauce but they have other sauces like ketchup, mustard, cheese, etc. The employees here are nice and the service was quick! There is very limited seating inside so I would recommend bringing it to-go. Highly recommend if you want to try Korean corn dogs!

Everytime I go to the HMart, I have to stop by this shop. It's my favorite Korean hot dog place by far. I ordered a potato hot dog and a half mozzarella and half hot dog one as well. I get mine with no sugar, but if you're a fan of sweet and savory you'd probably prefer that. The corn dogs are made to order so they're deliciously crispy and fresh. I Just LOVE how crispy they are, the crisp makes it soooooooo good. The mozzarella one had the most amazing cheese pulls. I highly recommend the potato hot dog one as well since the potato cubes is like French fries attached and is the perfect addition. I wish they had an option for a potato hot dog with half mozzarella and half hot dog tho. The service was great and even though it was busy, they got orders out as fast as possible with the hot dogs being made to order. The shop itself is pretty small, but most people just take the hot dogs to go. There are seating options for those that would like to eat there though! Overall, I would 100000% come here again. I love the Korean hot dogs here. It's just the best out of all the ones I've been to. They're pricing is good too versus the overpriced ones that are in the IE!

1. It's not bad, I thing it's pretty nice. The seating is nice and the employees are very nice all the time. When you pick up your food they ask you if you want sauce, and there's different things.2. When I come there I usually get the mozzarella hot dog. I recommend the mozzarella hotdog. It's cheesy and it's yummy when it's hot.

Myungrang is a unique spin on the traditional corn dog! Although labeled as a Hot Dog, it's definitely more of a decked-out corn dog with your choice of sausage or cheese. They have several variations, such as the batter mixed in with sweet potato chunks on the side, or sprinkled with sugar or crushed hot cheetos. It's a definitely something to try for those who appreciate a quality hot dog or corn dog. On my next visit, I play to give the mozzerella filled one a shot, as it's also one of their most popular items. I also appreciated their extensive condiment choices, as well as the recommended condiment mix guide they had on the wall. Hot Dog and Corn Dog connoisseurs, this ones for you!

**December 2022: Weekend Afternoon Visit** I've visited Myungrang Hot Dog on two visits and tried two different dogs each time. The first time I think I tried the Potato Hot Dog and second the Mozzarella and cheddar Hot Dog. I by no means am an expert on Korean corn dogs, but I enjoyed both, although I personally wasn't a big fan of the sugar added - the ketchup was good enough for me! The batter on both were nice and crispy and complimented the textures of the different dogs inside. So if you're hungry after shopping next door at H-Mart head over to Myungrant for a relatively inexpensive snack to carry you through the afternoon.
