Augustino's Italian Restaurant

We stopped in this little shopping center because we were craving some Italian food and saw this place. It was a Saturday afternoon about 12:30 pm and they were closed. Their sign said that they’ll be open at 4:00 pm. Such a disappointment and so unusual for a weekend so not a place we’d return to.

Wish I could gives ZERO STARS. Placed a large online order. After 30 mins the order wasn’t confirmed so called in to ask if it was ready, employee on the phone was rude saying they are busy rn, that is fine I just am making sure my large order is confirmed. My order arrives and they forgot 2 ceaser salads. How are you going to forget the salads in a ITALIAN restaurant order? And just serve us the pastas? Also considering its 150$ order you would think they would guarantee the full order is there before sending it off. I had to then go pick up my own salad and have the food get cold since they made a mistake. 150$ for what? Couldn’t tell you. Don’t waste your time or money!

I have been going to this place since I was a little girl. I moved away a couple years ago and have been dreaming of garlic knots ever since. I recently came back and have to say it was an exceptional experience. No one seated except for a friend and I. We ordered a ton of food and everything was delicious. Staff were very attentive, and generous. Food was priced fairly. Couldn’t have asked for better. Plan to stop by anytime I’m in garden grove

Been going here for years, food always good. Service always great. Ready for pickup pretty much when they say.

But we're going to start eliminating stuff like salads and sides as the prices are getting too high. Not necessarily their fault. But a salad is something I can do at home.
I'll just get the main dishes. From now on.

I ate here yesterday with my husband and I have nothing but praise for them. It's a casual, comfortable atmosphere and the food was so good. I ordered the eggplant parmesana with a glass of wine, my husband had the chicken alfredo and a beer. Service was friendly, food was delicious and the prices weren't outrageous. I highly recommend this little place , I know we'll be back again.

Cute little place. The a/c didn't appear to be working, but we were near a fan and a door with a breeze, so we weren't overheated. They bring you garlic knots w/ marinara sauce. Everyone was satisfied with dinner, salad is not included, but you can add it to your meal for $3.99. Fair price for the salad you receive. Most pasta dishes are just under $20/ person. The Spinach Alfredo Fettuccini was delicious. The Anglio Olio sauce was good; however, the fresh garlic could have been cooked just until the bitterness was gone. (it was as if I was chewing on raw cloves of garlic) They did not skimp on ingredients! The wine sauce on the seafood pastas was good, but a little heavy on the wine, as it over-powered the flavor of the rest of the dish. Everything else was good. A piece of garlic bread comes with your pasta dish...delicious bread! Service was good, just what you would expect when going to dinner. Will be back, but will try different dishes.

First time eating here, visiting from out of state and was recommended here. The food was okay, not much flavor in any of the dishes we ordered so I was a little disappointed. There was a fly in one our drinks when brought out to us, the atmosphere was pretty quiet which was nice after traveling all day. I personally won't try again, but not telling you not to.
