Thought I'd try this place for fun with my wife. Now I know what's been missing in my life. I've divorced her so I can focus on my passion, eating from the dealer. Leave paltry things like romance aside, and join me in the bahn mi bliss. Also it's on the 3rd floor.

The sandwiches at this place are next level: perfect blend of savory and sweet from the meat and pickled vegetables, and the sauce leaves you craving more every time. The bread is amazing but really lets the toppings shine.Definitely hit this place up next time you’re in the Anaheim Garden Walk!

There are very few vegan food options at the STC Gardenwalk. I was happy to see a sandwich sign on the main walkway with a vegan Banh Mi option. Now, finding the place is a bit tricky. It's upstairs behind some other restaurants. The food is good and filling. The staff was friendly. If you're a vegan near Disneyland, this is the spot.

Got here at around 2pm on a Friday and the shop was unattended. Rang the bell twice and there was no answer. As soon as I was leaving the shop, the worker (might have been the owner) returned and asked if I was wanting to order and I said yes. There’s a buy 3 get 1 free deal. It’s a bit pricey for banh mi but considering the area and other options for food, it makes sense. Paid around $40 for 4 sandwiches and I got an iced coffee for free also.I got the Sausage and Eggs (#1), Grilled Lemongrass Chicken (#6), Roasted Pork Belly (#7), and the Grilled Pork (#4). I tried a little bit of everything. The sausage/eggs and chicken sandwich were just okay. But the pork belly sandwich was on another level. Definitely get this one. The Grilled Pork was also really good.Next time I’ll skip on the sauce for the sandwiches, I think it’s some sort of dark soy sauce or hoisin. The fried shallots added a nice onion-y crunch. Everything else on the sandwich was typical and good - pickled veg, cucumbers, cilantro, and jalapeños. The iced coffee was good too. I visit Anaheim pretty often so I’ll be back here for the roasted pork belly sandwich, sans the sauce.Parking: They can validate your parking at this spot but I walked here from a nearby hotel so I can’t speak on whether it’s a partial or full discount.

We had an AWESOME time here. The food was amazing and so was the service. There were games to play while we ate too. It was so much fun. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food!We pretty much stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat after a long day and we found a diamond and weren't disappointed. We ordered a couple Banh Mi (or Vietnamese subs), the "Beef me Up" and "Chix Gon Wild"The "Beef me Up" had grilled beef that was very flavorful and not at all dry.The "Chix Gon Wild" had tender and juicy chicken pieces that had great flavor and they way it was cooked on the flat top that gave it a little bit of crispness that made it so good! The sandwiches had the freshness from the pickled veg and the fresh cilantro, with the pate, mayo and house sauce. And the holder of all that goodness, the beautiful baguette. We came right before the store was closing and the baguette was as if it was just taken out of the oven. So good!We had a couple of Vietnamese Ube iced coffees that hit the spot too!The gentleman who helped us, I think Dixon is his name, was really accommodating. There was 6 of us in our party, 2 of them being kids, and everyone was satisfied and well full after we ate. We're from Saskatchewan Canada, visiting the parks, and this place has a great vibe and amazing food, that if I lived here, I'd be here all time! Thanks!

A little quiet and unusual spot. But man. This is place is a hidden gem. A bit harder to get to than one at a “regular” shopping center.

Arrived on a weekday excited to try this place. It was 11:40a and Google had listed its hours as open at 11.When I arrived it was closed but a sign said they'd be back at noon. I went to a coffee shop, killed some time, and went back at 12:10a.The "be back at" clock has been turned to 12:30. At that point I was angry, hungry, and gave up. Product might be good, but lacking in professionalism.

Drove from Redondo Beach and we were looking forward to try this place. Arrived 1:30 pm and the place was closed…disappointing. Hours state open 11-8 pm. Please update hours if this is not the case.

I was in the area and saw the good reviews so I decided to try it out, but I had a really disappointing experience. The food took so long to get and the portion size of the banh mi was really underwhelming. I felt like the food was really overpriced for how small the banh mi is and it wasn't even that flavorful. They should try stuffing more of the pickled veggies in the sandwich because they put in a small amount. I also specifically requested to not add jalapeños in the banh mi, and they put it in. I would've came back in to complain and have them fix it but it probably would've taken even longer.

Having grown up eating banh mi sandwiches all my life, I have become pretty picky. Was at first nervous to try something new and out of the ordinary. With Banh Mi Che Cali's quality DRASTICALLY going down hill, I decided I would start paying the extra for better banh mi sandwiches. The bread was good, carrots & daikon crispy, and meats were nice and juicy. I typically ask for the bread to get WARMED and not toasted, and this always helps bring out the flavor and soften the bread for me. Definitely try to take advantage of the specials they continue to have ongoing. The ambiance is nice, professional staff, very welcoming, and accomodating for someone as myself who prefers to talk less and get my food quick (LOL).Great staff, great food, wont hesitate to order from here again!

This place is a little tucked out of the way on the 2nd floor of the Anaheim GardenWalk behind Fire & Ice, but definitely worth a trip. It's a little more expensive than some Banh Mi places, but the taste and size of them are really good. I've tried a handful of their Banh Mis including the Notorious P.I.G., Beef Me Up, Chic Gone Wild, Saigon Special, Shrimpin' Ain't Easy and The DEA, as well as their Bulgolgi and Notorious P.I.G. Loaded Fries. They haven't disappointed yet. My favorite out of all of them would be the Notorious P.I.G. and the Bulgogi Loaded Fries.I usually call ahead and then grab a seat at one of the tables outside to eat my food. It's in an area of the plaza that's not too busy so it's nice but they play music so it's not too quiet.Staff is super friendly and helpful. A few times I went, they sometimes run out of things, so if you're going later in the day, just be sure to ask if everything is available. Definitely worth a trip to try.
