Joanne was our server and she was great! She went above and beyond to serve us with an amazing attitude and smile. Food was good as well, but we were more impressed by the customer service.

BCD Tofu House serves flavorful Korean tofu stew that’s rich and comforting. However, some dishes were a bit too salty for my taste. Still, the food is satisfying and the service is quick, Great for a cozy Korean meal.

Been coming over for over 20+ years since college days. Comfort food and large portions. Lots of small dishes that can be refilled. What an amazing spot. After the Renovation the small dishes got less tasty. Didn't have the fried fish tonight. That has never happened before.

I’ve been coming to this location for over 20 years—mostly during my undergrad and post-grad days—but today was the first time I brought my small family for a meal.

My wife and daughter both have food allergies, and Jessica, the Head Waitress, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She patiently explained which menu items contained gluten and even helped customize a soup for our little one—just meat, tofu, and warm water. As a Korean, I can say from experience that this level of flexibility and care is rare at most Korean restaurants.

What can I say? The service was exceptional, and the food—just as I remembered—was absolutely delicious.

Note: we always have an activity bag for our toddler with crayons ready. The order may was a nice touch!

I had such a great experience at this restaurant! The tofu was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and comforting—one of the best I’ve had in LA. Every dish was served hot and perfectly seasoned.

I especially want to mention Yoon, our server. Yoon was so friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. They made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. It’s rare to find such warm and thoughtful service!

Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Korean food and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious food, ! Great service. Downside is that this location has a very small lot and has vagrants. You could park behind the building or by the supermarket right next to the plaza. Just be wary that there are vagrants or homeless that stay around which is why I went down a star.

Me and my family came here to try Korean food for the first time but we automatically got bad service once we were seated. The server aggressively put down our food and plates. The bulgogi had no seasoning in it but the color looked like it was flavorful probably a dye lol. The kimchi was made right at that moment so it didn’t taste good. At last, when we paid no one even came to get the money, we waited 15 mins and so we just left.

My first time trying Korean food and omg … I wish I coulda gave this a 0 … everything is so sweet with no actual seasonings in it. Even the sides were literally so bland 😬😬, the server who we had was being rough with our food too
