When in Garden Grove I stopped at Birdtalk Chicken. It was better than I expected. Purchased 3 flavors with different sauces. Real tender juicy with tons of flavor. I will definitely be back.

When I say it’s good I mean it’s good. Has to be the best chicken sandwich I’ve tried my whole life by far. All the sauces are amazing to. I would give it a 9.5/10 as it’s that good. Tho the fries could’ve been a bit more crispy it was so good with the seasoning they add to those fries. Must eat here and will try again!!!

Came here for lunch after phin smith & was pleasantly surprised at this little food hall.I got the loaded honey butter fries & it was delicious! The honey butter was so good, so sweet but salty at the same time. The fries doused in that sauce was really good. The chicken was super crispy as well. There isn't much to talk about when it came to service because the guy literally just took our order and that was it.

got the loaded nashville mac and cheese and honestly wasn't impressed whatsoever. The chicken was crisp and the flavors were okay but the mac and cheese was so dry and not cheesy whatsoever.Would be back to try out other items though, service was okay. The guy taking the order didn't seem to friendly.

Asked about their scorpion chicken — was warned with a straight face that it was too hot. This chicken was mild heat at best. Decent chicken with no kick — go to Legends

Took my friend to steelcraft for lunch today. It’s been 3 years since I’ve been here and most of the vendors are new since my last visit. We decided to order a few things to mix and match and share. We ordered 2 sliders with a side. Wow! Those are regular size sandwiches so I’m glad we shared. We got the normal heat and it was perfect. Nice juicy chicken with the perfect amount of heat. Our side was fried pickles with ranch dressing. Yummy ranch! Homemade and different from the normal. This was a great choice of food!

Stopped in for lunch. So delicious! Food is made fresh and hot! The breading on the chicken is lovely and it's a lot of food! The location is in a fun area with several businesses and a large covered seating area. Patient and nice staff! Looking forward to coming back and bringing family with us next time.

It's close and convenient so if you're here to hang out sure get some grub. It's not that cheap and takes like 20 minutes to come out but it'll do the job.Habanero Loaded Fries: Sure why notYou can top it with some nugs and it's drizzled with lots of goodness. Fries are decent and it's a comforting little tray of food. For $14 it's a little less appetizing but sure, you're here to hang with friends and share some grubNuggets: Also sure why notFor $11 you get some nugs and a side. The chicken was crispy and not too dry so that was nice. The bird sauce was... mostly just thousand island and not that much cajun at all. Maybe just stick with ranch next timeMac n cheese: Don't getIt was quite plain and not that cheesy at all. Just like creamy/milky mac lol.

I've been waiting a bit to give this place a proper review, trying them out a few times so I could be fair, but here we are with a 3 star review. The last few times I've been there, the chicken and spices have been delicious, but what really bothers me is the staff and how they interact with their customers. On 2 separate occasions with 2 different guys helping me, I've been asked for my phone number and hit on I've just had to shrug it off awkwardly. This past Monday (Labor Day), I took some friends to Steelcraft and one of them was craving spicy chicken. We waited 35 minutes for her food and when she went up to ask about the order, the person at the window was very rude to her and then once the food was finally ready, her order was missing the sauces she ordered so we had to go back to ask about. The man at the window just said "oh we ran out of that sauce. Do you want a different one?" - it's weird that she had to ask about it in the first place, right? The chicken and waffles she got were fine but her chocolate chip cookie was nowhere near ready to eat - like pretty much still raw cookie dough. Overall, I really want to like coming here but the service and apparently the cookies, have just been really disappointing. Maybe we'll give it another shot sometime (I totally believe in giving restaurants a chance to redeem themselves), but definitely not anytime soon.

A little over $18 for only fries & a Nashville chicken sandwich. I really wanted to like this place because I love Nashville fried chicken, but I will not be back. The bread bun was very dry and hard. Not really buttered at all or toasted.. The bun tasted really, really old which turned me off. As I was eating the sandwich, I ripped part of the bread off to trash it. Tasted so bad. The chicken was really oily and flavorless and the slaw didn't have much flavor. I thought the chicken was gonna have more of a spicy Nashville chicken flavor taste, but it didn't. It was juicy, but plain. Way too much creamy sauce, my sandwich was dripping so much when I was trying to eat it. The fries & cheese were not hot at all. Idk, I was very disappointed with my meal. The food also took over 20 mins to prepare, and I wasn't aware it would take so long. My friend had ordered from another place and got his food a lot sooner than I got mine. I felt bad that he waited for my food because he would have been done eating by then but he waited so long for my food to arrive and then we started to eat.2 stars because the food didn't taste nasty, but the taste and definitely the quality was lacking. Maybe it will be better for others... I was upset with the wait, it just wasn't fresh and tasty for me, not worth the price, and the service was not rude but the guys were not friendly or nice at all. No greeting when I said hello. I guess maybe they were tired and grumpy when I arrived at 6pm on a Friday night. So collectively, that is why I am not coming back for another chance. A lot of reasons but I do hope they improve their service and experience for others.

Their food looks great in social media pics so I’ve been wanting to try, but as soon as I tasted my food I was disappointed. I had the original chicken sandwich and fries, and everything (including sauce) was bland. In comparison to Chik-Fil-A and Cane’s, it did not taste as good and yet was more expensive, at $15 (around $16 after tax), and that is pretty much the cheapest full entree option on the menu. Would not recommend. The food hall Steelcraft looks nice but unfortunately the food is overpriced and haven’t had much there that has been that great

First time trying this place. Order lemon pepper and the mango habonaro wings. Came with side I got Tatortot. The wing just tasted per black pepper. Not much flavor. Tatortot was crunchy.

Bird talk located to the left of the stage was a wonderful hot chicken sandwich spot. The person taking the order was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Helped me decide the order and gave me accurate times. It is located in a wonderful little food hall in which there's plenty of open seating, as well as a stage, where live bands can play.I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and it was cooked perfectly absolutely tender and moist very flavorful. Their signature sauce was surprisingly red to me, but tested wonderful at the same time. It was a wonderful compliment to the chicken sandwich. I also ordered the loaded tater tot's which was also absolutely amazing and I would absolutely love to try other items on this menu.
