The food was superb. Service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it. The group is planning to come back in May to celebrate the. Birthday of my two friends.

Been ages since I've been in, and maybe I didn't have the best thing on the menu, but the duck soup I had for lunch was really just OK. Not as flavorful as it could be given the choice of protein. I didn't dislike it, but I was hoping for better. The place itself is nice, the granddady of high end Vietnamese in OC.

Went for lunch with my son. Had shrimp spring rolls and the chicken curry with baguettes. The spring rolls had a king of crunchy layer inside that made them truly irresistible. The curry was delicious! Not too spicy, the chicken was tender and delicious. We were full after eating half our servings, took the rest home. I did indulge in some delicious macaroons and pastries to go. All in all, it was a lovely and delicious experience the service was excellent...will definitely be coming here again!

Wonderful food , nice atmosphere. Service was a little slow. I think there was only one server. All in all a great time trying new food

As I stepped into the cozy confines of the Vietnamese restaurant, my eyes were immediately drawn to the colorful array of pastries on display. The ambiance was inviting, with warm lighting and a charming decor that promised an enjoyable dining experience. Despite the tempting display of pastries, I opted for a savory dish. The food itself was delicious, with bold flavors and authentic Vietnamese spices. However, there was one major drawback--the dishes arrived cold, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. While the flavors were on point, the portion sizes seemed disproportionate to the prices charged. It felt as though I was paying a premium for small servings, which left me feeling somewhat disappointed in terms of value for money. Unfortunately, the service experience did not live up to expectations. It took an unusually long time for the waitstaff to take our order, and once seated, we found ourselves constantly interrupted by the traffic of waiters rushing around the dining area. It became apparent that they were in a rush to close for the night, which created a sense of unease and detracted from the overall ambiance. Throughout the meal, nobody came to our table to inquire if we needed anything or to check on the quality of our dining experience. Instead, the staff seemed preoccupied with closing tasks, leaving us feeling neglected.

Stopped by for a quick lunch today; disappointed to say the least given the popularity of the Brodard name. I ordered the vermicelli; the charbroiled beef tasted like it was warmed in the microwave and just did not taste right . The egg roll was mushy (perhaps microwaved?) and for some odd reason there were a couple of pieces of sliced chicken with skin. Anyhow, my dish was mediocre at most. Service was great though!

The best grilled pork rolls in the world!!! I always drink the sauce not dipping until last drop...

I heard rumors about how Brodard Chateau was the fancier, more expensive version of their sister restaurant. After trying it for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised. One huge perk of Chateau is the smaller crowd and quieter ambiance. I feel like I can have a nice conversation and relax during my meal. I wouldn't say the interior is fancy, but it is slightly more upscale and includes the attentive service you would expect from an American establishment. We ordered the passionfruit and dragonfruit cocktails, and the passionfruit was definitely our favorite. The food tasted just as good, if not better, than the original location. We even compared the two menus and the prices were the same. Next time, I will opt to visit Chateau instead for the more enjoyable ambiance and service.

Super friendly Service I love how the food comes out as soon as it's done huge portions you could definitely share. The food is delicious and very affordable.

A very famous Vietnamese restaurant. Get their pad Thai and Banh canh! Spring rolls were also good

This place is always crowded so minus 1 points and the service was another minus. I normally come here when craving for Nem but hate the lines so hardly want to stop here. Most of time, no one waited at the table so asking for more water was even hard. I only try to come if I am really craving but stay away if if I just wanna go eat.

Food: I was here for the rolls and they didn't disappoint. Note that they are slightly more expensive than the other Brodard on Brookhurst (for the same price you get 2 rolls instead of 3). -1 cause the sauce for my other dishes was a bit bland and grilled meat was very dry (no fat!). Go to the other Brodard if you want more authentic Viet food.Atmosphere: I like the castle like exterior. -1 cause the bathroom was not very clean.Service was 5/5, very attentive and accommodating. Definitely better service than the other Brodard.
