Cute shop. Had the avocado toast and an oatmilk coffee. The presentation was beautiful and tasted as good as it looked. staff is wonderful. Would be a nice place for a small party in their tea room.

In my search for perfect pairings of drinks and food I found a new breakfast spot in Burnt Umber. I tried the Vanilla Bean latte which is anything but basic! Topped with the house cold foam making it extra delicious ? Paired it with the ham and cheese quiche which is super yummy on its own but the verde salsa that comes on the side is addictive, just the right spice to add to the cheesy goodness of the quiche. Staff were helpful and friendly. The decor is super cool especially if you are into goth, dark, Victorian spooky spectacular vibes. The space is intimate but cozy inside and they have a few tables outside for overflow.Overall a magical experience ✨️

This much-needed gem of a third-wave coffee house is right up my alley with the gothic theme yet eye-catching feminine decor and furnishings. But the drink menu is to-die-for, pun intended, deliciousness all around and such mindfully-designed coffee drinks. I love tea too, and will make a point to start ordering their tea drinks.Family-owned is also important to me and they are hard-working, friendly, and talented to say the least. I was a kid when Bridgecreek was built and worked at the bakery there in the '80's, and am so happy to see a new wave of businesses opening there. I have already spread word to my out-of-town family and local tribe who are following their IG page and patronizing Burnt Umber. If ten stars were an option, they would get ten stars for sure!

Came in on my lunch break w a sandwich from next door. Bought a 7 dollar coffee. Was told not only could I not sit on the couch with my food but that I needed to leave altogether and go sit outside. The man who told me was very nice. In fairness there were signs posted which I didn’t see. My best friend just suffered a massive heart attack and I was out of it. Really enjoyed the coffee. But to tell a paying customer to go outside was a bit much. I will not be returning. Hope it was worth it.

Been seeing so many fellow Yelpers checking in to this place and it's always the same people so I have been curious about this place for many months. I can see why they are regulars. It was busy but the line went fairly fast and it was holiday season so it's expected. I got something off their holiday menu and it was one of the best drinks i've had. They are also super helpful in finding the right drink for you and they are really nice about it, not rushing you at all. I will definitely be back in the future. Just wish there were more locations closer to me but the drive isn't bad. I can only go on the weekends due to my schedule though.

The ambiance is on point, the seating is plentiful, staff is friendly, drinks were good and not painfully expensive. What's not to like?

Wonderful staff, cute decor, and lots of room for studying (more tables outside but still in an enclosed space). The drinks were also top notch, and very reasonably priced

There are many coffee shops that have really cool ambiance and then fall short with their drink quality. Burnt Umber is NOT that type of place. The drinks are as amazing as the vibes and ambiance. I would even go as far as to say the drinks are even BETTER than the spooky, gothic Victorian environment. The whole staff is also wonderful and go to great lengths to make sure your visit is wonderful. I have tried every drink on their menu and enjoyed them all but my favorite is the Scarborough Fair Latte.
