Packed and food was good if you like shellfish. Very popular and the restaurant is nice and clean.

Solid Vietnamese seafood restaurant. It was so popular that we were there a weekend around 9pm still waited half hour to get seated and it was worth it. Service was fast and friendly. The razor calms and the snails were really fresh and full of south East Asian style seasoning. The fried quails were really amazing, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. They also offer free desserts, so remember to save a bit room for it.

Don’t recommend at all. Dishes look good but taste bad. Don’t understand why there’re so many customers all the time. The worst seafood restaurant I’ve ever gone to.

May 2025: visited again - scallops ($27 for four) were way overcooked, the tiny escargots not good value, very little rice in the pineapple fried rice, soft shell crabs were too saucy, spring rolls were okay, servers were super busy putting food on tables or clearing dishes, had to ask for refills three times and felt we were rushed out of there. The restaurant was too busy and noisy to enjoy the food. Probably won’t return.
2024: Food is excellent and great value. Atmosphere is not relaxing at all bc the restaurant is very busy so the servers are constantly on the move to keep tables turned over for next party so not much service. I saw a party of 7 got seated at a 4 person booth. There’s always a long wait for tables.

My sister took my 2 daughters and I here, I'm a first timer, but have heard many good things about it. We had the grilled shrimp, mango squid salad, clams and scallops. Eveything was great, and I don't like squid but my sister insisted it was really good and she wasn't lying! We signed in on the yelp waitlist I took my daughter to the restroom and our table was ready before we came out. The lychee martini was great as well and I loved the complimentary che they gave at the end of the meal. Will be coming again. Thank you !!

I had the opportunity to dine at OC & Lau Saturday night. It came highly recommended to me by a few friends. I’m a huge seafood fan and of Asian cuisine. The restaurant is lively, staff is friendly. The smells of fresh food coming from the kitchen makes you even more hungry. The staff answered all of my questions about each of the menu items that I wanted to try. We started off the evening with an Asahi beer and a mixed drink. The first item we ordered was the quail. Well marinated and tender, it hit the spot.
Next up were the grilled garlic butter oysters. Please because when they come out because they are oven hot hot. The oysters were so fresh and tasteful.
Next up were the grilled scallops. Boy oh boy were these delicious. Melt in your mouth.
We then decided upon the crabs and shrimp fried rice entrée as well as the filet mignon with udon noodles. By this time you could imagine we were close to food coma. However we powered through and enjoyed most of our entrées. They fried rice was delicious packed with flavor and since it was my first time here I had no idea this was a family size serving so of course I had some to take home. The filet mignon and udon was awesome. The filet mignon was so tender lots of flavor and a delicious meal.
I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. As I was sitting there waiting for my food, I saw so many different dishes coming out of the kitchen. I wanted to try each of them so next time I will definitely be trying new items on the menu.

This place is always busy. Doesn't matter what time or day. Advice: Add yourself to the Yelp waitlist prior to arrival and check in at the door.

It's usually pretty loud in there between the music, conversations, and banging of plates, silverware, etc. The service is a hit or miss. In general, they're quick but once the food are delivered to the table, the server may be hard to flag down. I'm assuming they all work together though, because you can probably just flag down any server when you need something.

Food. They specialize in seafood dishes like escargot but also have hot pots that are also tasty. Our must have are the spicy seasoned grilled squid, house special mango salad and grilled escargot. There's plenty of options to choose from their extensive menu, and most dishes are a hit. Prices may seem high for some but they're worth it. Their nuoc cham and green sauce are also bomb.

They also offer complementary che at the end of the meal with the bill. Overall, it's a solid spot for sure.

Had a fantastic experience! The drinks were good, offering a refreshing start to the meal. The menu boasts a selection of amazing food, but the highlight for me was the oxtail hotpot. It was simply amazing! The rich, flavorful broth and tender oxtail made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with excellent drinks.

Fresh seafood and affordable prices
The small desserts given after the meal are also very delicious
There are a lot of people during meal time, so you have to wait.

The must-orders every time are the green mango salad and snails. The cod hot pot tastes great. I ordered a new dish this time, the quail and clams are also very good. The only thing is that you need to queue up here, which takes about 40-60 minutes each time.

The food was mostly ok. I was impressed with the oysters ?, but the scallops were a bit too salty for me, and the balut wasn’t great either. However, I highly recommend the ngheu xao bo cay and grilled oysters!
