My go to place for K BBQ in OC. Fast and attentive service, great selections and tasty meats.

Okay don't get confused like we did. Cham Soot Gol in Garden Grove is not the same as Chamsutgol in Rowland Heights. The one in Rowland Heights is AMAZING!

We accidentally went to the garden grove location and had very average food. They have a beautiful environment and great service, but they're flavor profiles are either too salty or too bland. We did not enjoy our food.

Nobody was checking up on us nor was there anybody around to ask. Workers were just standing there talking We had to wait a long time between food / drinks /sides. Our grill never got changed until we were about to leave. Had to ask help from different waiters. It took a long time to bring us our check so we eventually got up to pay upfront. Anyone wanting to go eat Korean BBQ I would recommend Mr.BBQ.

Been coming here for 17 years... by far, best KBBQ in SoCal. Customer service was amazing and we LOOOVE the ice cream at the end.

My family and I have been going to Cham Soot Gol for over a decade. Sometimes we love coming to the Garden Grove location when we are in the area and it is always a treat.

My favorites are the I love ordering a spicy tofu soup and eating the salad while I'm waiting for the brisket and bulgogi to cook. They have a nice selection of meats and sides. Everything is delicious and you end the night with complementary ice cream.

This place is really affordable and decent. The service is good but you have to ask for all the sides bc not everything is brought to you like other places.

What a treat to come here for my birthday last Saturday! We had actually planned to meet somewhere else, but that other place couldn’t seat our large party (planned for 19 but 16 of us showed.) I had my reservations because although we used to come here quite a bit pre-Covid the last two times the food wasn’t great and they didn’t have a lot of servers. THEY SURE MADE UP FOR IT! Everything we ate was fresh and flavorful, everything we asked for we got, and then some. And we were perfectly happy with the A menu. The servers were never far from our table, always attentive and their kindness was just amazing. I mean seriously, nothing could go wrong and I can’t wait to go back. Though there’s one right around the corner from my house I would prefer to make the 17 minute drive out here. I even forgot my credit card there and was able to return the next day and pick it up from the same guys that served us the day before. Embarrassed that I didn’t get any of their names. But be a patron to their business! What a pleasure 🙏🏽👍🏽

1/10/25 @ 5:30 pm: Awesome place. Food great except for the white rice. Old & hard. Otherwise would come her again for sure.

Delicious banchan. Their fishcake and kimchis are so fresh. Must try the soft tofu soup, a lot of places side dishes suck but not this place.

Meat portions are generous and I love their ice cold soju water. The waiters are super attentive and they will offer you ice cream. The green tea and strawberry are a perfect combo!!

Price is better than most ayce korean bbq places. Meat quality is average. Please run your air. I was sweating profusely.
