I'm usually always off work late and not many places are open but this place was and it's good! Right when you walk in, everyone is welcoming with a smile. Ken was funny and he made sure everything was good. Even showed me a way to eat my food that I didn't know before to give me the best experience and taste from my order. (Ate it before I could take a picture though) I also appreciate how our utensils was set aside inside a glass cup with hot water for us making sure it was clean. Great service.

Give you 5* too. Remember to delete carefully, if you have anything left, please delete it. My friends, relatives, and brothers have saved it all. Your TN or your sister's is all there. Not one person, but two people. Love each other more

Purposely messed up my to-go order by adding one item I did not order. It was late , and it was just a small item , so I said it was fine. They also confirmed the item was already in the bag so I trusted them and left. Once I got home, the extra item wasn't in the bag. This is unacceptable. Not a right way to do business. Avoid this place at all costs.

Last night, I was here late probably around 10 pm. I googled search and found this place opened till 2 am, most restaurant closes at 8 pm. I can't believe it either lol anyways, is right next to a bar, with all the neon lights reminded me of the New Wave days lol aaahhhhh...fun years (1982), sorry I like to reminisce when I enter an establishment that reminds me about the past lol The restaurant is kinda small, looking at the reviews, I thought I'd a huge restaurant due to the white chairs and fancy lights, but, whoever posted those pictures got the wrong restaurant. Some people don't even remember where they been at and post either positive/negative reviews that could ruin a business, please be careful!!! Anyways back to the reviews, I would of give it a 5 stars if my cup of hot water to drink wasn't dirty. The waiter in training gave me a dirty cup, you can see bits of old coffee stains and bits of coffee from the bottom of cup, I didn't drink it, I just drink all my bun bo hue soup lol. The soup flavor was ok, it wasn't oily like the others that I had before, I can't put my taste to it, it tasted more like a different broth from bun bo hue but similar. In the beginning, the young waiter brought out the menu and the hot water cup to sanitize my chopsticks and spoon, then I ordered the bun bo hue and crispy egg rolls with a cup of hot water. He brought out 4 different kinds of chilies and a piece of lemon with a small container of purple paste, I asked him what's that and he said is lemon lol I was referring to the purple paste. The owner came by and said I don't need that cuz what I'm ordering doesn't come with it so he took it away. I didn't want to point out the dirty cup cuz I didn't want her to give him a hard time, maybe I should have so he can learn not to give out dirty cups lol the egg rolls were golden yellow, this the first time I ever seen an egg rolls that golden, usually they are burnt or not crispy enough lol and it was cut into pieces. It didn't have enough herbs for the price, for about $13, 3 egg rolls, I would expect to at least have 3-4 full leafy lettuce and 4-5 different herbs and some cucumbers. Overall it was pretty good. They could of clean the menu or at least wipe it clean since is laminated with plastic. Is a good place to eat if you're craving Vietnamese and just coming out of the bar or clubs.

Ordered the Bun Rieu with an extra bllod pudding. The charge for the extra was $6 for tiny little pieces barely an inch each piece. The meat in the soup tasted tough and old. I took one bite and spit it out. I couldn't finish my food. What a waste of money and time. Never coming back

Great mom & pop type restaurant / cafe located in Little Saigon area of OC. Open late (til 2am), which is why it popped up on my radar. I was on my way home and was looking for food in the area and this place came up. This place is located in a small strip mall and if you do come here late, there's a noisy nightclub next door that you walk past, haha. Now, I haven't been to Vietnam in over fifteen years, but I will say that as soon as I walked through the door, the vibe here felt like I was in a cafe in Vietnam. There's a karaoke stage towards the back, but it wasn't super busy when I got there and the karaoke wasn't on. The service was really friendly and warm here. It's been a while since I had good bun rieu, so that's what I ordered. I definitely thought it was great and it really hit the spot. It came with the fresh accoutrements including some shrimp paste. I don't know if it was nostalgia or it made me thing of my family, but I really just enjoyed my meal here. Because it was on the later side, parking was really easy in the lot, but it looks like it can get tight during the busy times.

The food was yummy!! We got the fried crab spring rolls and they were delicious! We also got the pork and rice with vermicelli and that was great too! But the atmosphere is really where it's at! They had karaoke and it was so fun to listen to and watch! The owners are great singers and hosts! I definitely want to go back with more friends!

The BBH is good. Broth, meats and pork blood with a very generous amount of "banana flower" and cabbage. The owners are super friendly as well. They made my dipping sauce with the sauce tray to my liking (spicy), and even offered to reheat my broth to cook the rest of the bean sprouts. I'd come back.

My coworker and I came late one night after work and had bún mắm. It was pretty good not bad. While we were eating the owner came over and asked if we wanted to sing karaoke... and of course we say yes and we sang away

Every single time whenever I come here the place never ever disappoints. I always bring new friends here and they have all loved this restaurant. The owners are so sweet. I usually come at night, late nights and there's usually karaoke. Yesterday night, the owner suggested for our group to sing karaoke while eating our meal and it was a great time. The bun rieu, com tam, bun bo hue, bun vit sao mang, bun thit nuong, canh bun, banh canh, and bun mam never disappoints.
