My boyfriend got the Chicken Curry Katsu and I got the Bibimbap. My boyfriend thought the Katsu was a bit too dry but he still enjoyed the rest of it and I thought the Bibimbap was okay but I thought the sides tasted better. Anyway I think we might come back but not entirely sure because of the cost for the quality of food.

This place is great. We were greeted by them and they asked us to wait while they set the table. We happened to catch them at a good time because as soon as we finished ordering the food, the restaurant filled up quickly. The food didn't disappoint. Sometimes what looks good on Instagram doesnt translate in real life. The boys wanted Katsu so they ordered 2 but we honestly only need 1. Pro tip, if you ordered the Katsu and the garlic su yuk, eat the katsu first. Once you have a bite of the 10 hours sous vide pork belly, everything else just tasted tough. Trust me... i was loving the tender pork katsu until I bit into the sous vide pork. After that there was no going back. By the way, the bathroom is clean which is a plus

This is where you can try this MASSIVE chicken katsu. It looks so freakin' unreal omg. This hidden gem has been open for just a couple months but is already popping, and for good reason too! Don't worry, the waitlist moves pretty quickly.

The katsu is perfectly breaded and not heavy at all, and pairs perfectly with the curry.

Another one of their most popular items is this gigantic stone pot of Braised beef that comes with short ribs, shank, brisket, and rice cakes, and you can add cheese on top that they'll torch on your table.

Bibimbap is a classic that's a must-order, and it's always so fun mixing it up.

And this was my first time having shrimp in a Korean pancake, theirs was crispy on the outside yet soft and bursting with green onions on the inside! Definitely check this place out :)

Thanks for reading! ^-^

Food was so good! I went with two other people and three dishes was way more than we could even finish. Waiter was so nice and attentive. And the food was juicy and hot. I was half expecting the giant katsu to be dry but the whole thing was cooked really well with no dry or patchy parts not cooked well. The whole thing tasted so good and it comes with scissors to cut it.

Somehow went on a not so busy night but apparently its usually a long wait/crowded even on week days.

Overall would recommend!

We come here at least once a month. The portions are plentiful, and we like taking home leftovers for lunch the next day.

One of those places that you wouldn't expect if you just drive past it. But once you walk in, the place is decorated beautifully!

You can use yelp to check in, so if it's a longer wait, you can totally check in while you're driving to the restaurant!

Service is great! They make sure you get a full setup of napkins, chopsticks, plates and water with water cups! And they're attentive to what you're ordering and making sure everything is to your liking!

Food we ordered:

Curry Chicken Katsu - Just like the tonkatsu, it's a massive portion that comes out on a hot stone plate. Everything about it is perfect! The curry, the crispiness of the chicken, spices, everything!

Garlic Su Yuk - This is kinda like my comfort food right here. The pork is very tender and full of flavor from the broth. And the condiments compliment it! It's great that it comes with rice!

Spicy Tofu Soup - This is kinda like a good spicy soup you'd want on a cold day, or a day you feel you need some spice in your life. The tofu was cooked perfectly in it. The spice level was perfect, and we had a choice of Bulgolgi or shrimp, we went with bulgolgi this time and it was great!

Dawa Chicken - The chicken was juicy and crispy! The sauce on it was amazing! The salad on the side was the perfect way to get a temp/texture change. Overall a great dish to share amongst everyone!

Banchan was very fresh and crisp! The Mac was delicious and creamy!

There might be a wait here, but trust me when I say it's worth it!

Just a heads up for parking, if there isn't parking in the front, there's extra in the back!

Try it out! Don't be intimidated if there's a long wait! I've been here 4 times already and it's always a great experience!

This place lives up to the hype. It’s going to be hard to eat Katsu ever again if it’s not bigger than my head like it is here. Seriously delicious paired with their curry. The braised beef short ribs stew is also great: cheesy goodness, and is torched table side. Service is great, interior is updated, and the food speaks for itself. Can’t wait to come back!

We ordered the katsu curry ($25) + braised beef ($58). Food came out fast. Service was great. The braised beef was deliciuos and much cheaper than other places that I've been to before. Portion was big and can feed 2-3 people by itself. The katsu was huge and can easily feed 2 people by itself but it was dry - wouldn't order again.

Would come back and try out the ramens + order the braised beef again.
