Duck noodle soup with bamboo. The broth was pretty good. Portion comes with a decent amount of duck.

I drove an hour to try the Bò lá lốt here. It was booked marked as one of the restaurants I most try when in OC!
The restaurant is small and was still crowded even at 1:45 pm, which shows how popular it is. The Bò lá lốt came with a different set of veggies and herbs than what I’m used to, which was interesting to see. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed with how busy it was, so I didn’t get water or much guidance on how to enjoy the dish properly.

1 star for how I don’t like they don’t give enough veggies for an order then that makes you have to order more and pay extra. They’re doing it on purpose. The extra paid veggie is fill up while the original order is little for a meal. I had Bun Cha Ha Noi and the noodles always little and so is the veggies.
A little cramped but the food is delicious! Bo Luc Lac never caught lacking here

A solid 4 stars Vietnamese cuisine. I had their bun cha. The portion seems small but I was full when I'm done. Their bamboo duck soup was also delicious. This is a great place to take your non- Vietnamese friends for lunch or dinner.

I saw a lot of people praising the bun cha at this restaurant so I tried it and it's delicious ? The meat is soft and not dry, the grilled meat is lean (just my taste ?) and the delicious fish sauce is sweet, with lots of fresh vegetables. My husband's Hainanese chicken rice was also delicious, there was plenty of chicken, and the ginger fish sauce was just right. The restaurant is a bit small, the tables are close together, but it seems to have been open for a long time so the food is very neat and eye-catching. Tips for delicious food but found the service a bit strange.
❗️The first time I went out to eat and a male friend came out to take an order, I heard the exact same question "what to order?" - There's no host or anything else to ask, even if you bring out vegetables and dishes, I'll always thank you. Then my friend came in, my husband asked me, do you sound like me ? at that time I said never mind, maybe I was running back and forth talking a bit. When other male friends (like the owner or manager bring out the rice dish), they feel happier. Everything is an experience, but sometimes doing service - happy, sad, emotional or whatever, don't let the customer think that the customer has done something wrong to you. If you go to eat at many places in OC and see that, it's easy to get confused ?

This is a cool little spot to come get a variety of Vietnamese food. They even have steak and fries with their home secret Tabasco sauce.

Bánh canh cua at DK Cuisine is a savory delight, boasting a rich and hearty crab broth that perfectly complements the thick, chewy noodles. The dish is packed with fresh crab meat and aromatic herbs, offering a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Bún chả cá is another highlight, featuring flavorful, well-seasoned fish cakes that are grilled to perfection. The vermicelli noodles and fresh herbs provide a refreshing contrast, making each bite a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. DK Cuisine excels in delivering traditional Vietnamese dishes with exceptional quality and taste.

Very good crab soup
I came here after seeing many good reviews on Facebook about their Banh Canh Tom Cua (seafood udon) (number 3). I would say it’s pretty good, as expected. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance was nice. We also got Bun Cha Ha Noi, which was absolutely the best I’ve ever had—none of the places I’ve tried before could compare to it. The BBQ pork slices and patties were so juicy, with a nice BBQ fragrance and the best sweet and savory broth, served with a variety of veggies. I will definitely come back just for the Bun Cha. I also recommend the Bun Rieu and Bun Vit Sao Mang.

I order the Fish cake Noodle Da Nang style:
- the broth is good at the standard
- fish cakes include 2 types: 1 steamed like, 1 fried. they are good
- the side veggie is fresh
- space is a bit small
- service is fast
