It's not an authentic Korean BBQ.Meat choices are vast - I was intrigued by pig ear, pig tongue and beef heart. These are not usual items at any Korean BBq spots in the US or in Korea, so I was curious but totally disappointed. I would not recommend these at all. All had marinade that wasn't authentic korean.Their duenjang jjigae was nowhere near being authentic, as was their cold noodle! It's rare to go to a kBbq that only offers one type of Soju, and a buch of different saki instead..I've been here some years back and had a pretty good memory, but maybe there's been a management change? If you want to experience an authentic Korean BBq experience, this is not it.

The price is expensive. You get two different price tiers. A $60 and a $40. For the $40 price you only get the slices of beef and no short rib. Only if you pay the $60 price you get everything. That is too expensive if you compare to Gen. At Gen it is just one price for everyone and you get the same food. Not coming back here again.

This is my go-to AYCE KBBQ spot for several reasons. It’s generally affordable for the high quality of meat. It’s not ~super high quality but I would say it’s on the higher end for an AYCE spot. They also have beef tongue, galbi, and intestines which I consider more premium items. It gets pretty busy so I would suggest putting your party’s name on the Yelp list 1-2 hours ahead of time.My only complaint is the terrible customer service. It feels pretty understaffed which causes the employees to be spread to thin / overworked. Our server takes forever to check back in with us which is not ideal for a KBBQ place where you need to order stuff frequently. Sometimes there are employees who I feel like do the bare minimum and seem like they don’t enjoy working there (don’t smile and are not very friendly).Again, this is a great kbbq spot in general but it can get very busy and service can use improvement.

This review is for the entire staffs, who work on January 3rd around 8:30pm. First of all, everyone I interacted with just seems friendly and happy to help. They were proactively asking us if we needed more meat or any side dishes. Especially Kathy, she was extra patient with us, which elevated the whole dining experience overall, truly making us feel warm and welcomed. Thank you! And btw the meat was delish, definitely on a higher quality side comparing with other AYCEs.

Food 8.5/10Service 10/10Ambiance 9/10 - for some reason the corner layout makes it feel kind of cute and more cozy probably.Service was impeccable, got asked probably 4x throughout the night if we wanted to order more when we already submitted an order. Zero issue on refilling anything, never waited for anything to be out. Helped that our friend / grillmaster is good at keeping everything flowing. We went B menuMeat quality - I'm not really a connoisseur of meats but I can tell when slowing down to compare each cut. I'm not sure exactly what we ordered One of the wagyus was a little dry texture wise which was offputting! Very unfortunate given the wagyu name. Not sure which one it was, prob eyeround or chucktender, not likely to be the beef belly but at least it was paper thin.Top blade was the one cut that we wish we got more of. They were nice and allowed us a half order at the end!Side dishes - LOTS of options, Oden/Fishcake Soup was a bit peppery, nice touch! To those who are extremely spice intolerant you might find it too peppery. I thought it was refreshingly nice, I like 7/10 on the spice scale so to say for reference.Garlic Rice - lightly flavored, I tried it since a friend was interested in it and I wondered if I should replace ricepaper with it or ... new INVENTION - if someone made garlic infused rice paper that'd be a legit! Anyways -Interior is hipster nice, a friend commented it doesn't feel Korean although lots of places now model it like this.Overall, place is decent. The wide menu, and everything was pretty good and top notch service make this great. It'd be absolutely full marks if I was wow'd.OH! SAUCEI wish there was salt with the oil, that's unfortunate taste wise to miss that. The hot sauce is JUST hot sauce, usually used to some mixture or something that's more flavorful. We used mostly the "house sauce" bottle on the table.I think I recall our server name was Cameron, great job and thank you haha

Meat here is good for the price. However, the floors are extremely slippery and sticky and the ventilation is extremely poor. I'm usually not a stickler for ambiance as long as the food is good but it was difficult to sit with my feet sliding underneath me. The waiters were good at taking or orders and the meat came quickly but they sometimes forget little things like the side dishes, napkins, and non-meat items that we orders. However, they were really good at refilling our water and changing our grill without us having to ask. I would come again if my friends want AYCE because it's local and food is good. My one wish is that they cleaned their floors better

This is a way overdue review. I didn't want to write this review because it's an extremely negative experience, but even after this many months, I still can't forget about what happened. This is regarding customer service:I went with my family for a birthday dinner. Upon arrival, the moment we said we were a Group of 5 the hostess with long ass freakin blonde hair, gave us the most biggest attitude and made the most rudest remark. It was not busy! I was with my parents so I didn't want to say anything back and my parents don't understand English that much so they didn't know what was being said. Not only that, we only eat out as a family once a year and it happened to be this day. With sass, flinging her long ass blonde hair she proceeded to take us to our table. At that exact moment 2 customers were leaving and blocked the main aisle so we had to wait for them to walk out first. I looked her way to acknowledge we are coming, but there's a bit of a traffic jam. Our eyes met and she was staring at me like "I can't wait all day dumbass". I was so mad I was going to leave the restaurant right then and there if it wasn't for my parents. They really wanted KBBQ. Ended up sitting down and guess what, I see this girl going to other waitresses like she was gossiping about what just happened. I know that, because as she was talking and the other waitresses were looking our way. Is a group of 5 really that much of a problem? We created no drama!! What is there to talk about us? If it is about not booking a reservation we chose not to because we looked in advance that there were no wait times. There were so much seats available! We ordered our food, but it made me uncomfortable eating the whole time because I was thinking what the hell nasty crap did you say about us? That was the only thing running in my head that I couldn't even remember what the food tasted like!Suddenly, a few minutes later, I guess the manager or owner realized maybe we weren't being treated nicely and tried to make things better for us. A better employee with glasses was serving us majority of the time and he was very nice. The manager or owner came to check on us anytime he can. He was going to every table and pretty much acting like he was a waiter. So he made the experience better for us, but in my eyes, it shows me it must happen on a regular basis. Let me tell you they were not short staffed. Other employees were working hard, I see this one girl barely working. Only dragging around an empty cart. Maybe her long ass blonde hair was weighing her down. Idk. I can't believe they allowed to wear her hair like that! It should be tied up more with a HAIRNET! Idk if this girl is still working here or maybe finally cut her hair and dyed it, but I think she needs more training on customer service and actually "working". She was walking around like she was entitled and if she was the owner of the business. (I hope not)It was sad to see that these kind of employees ruin the restaurant business. To them, it's just another paycheck till they probably land their dream job. I get it, the whole world gets it. But don't hurt someone else's hard worked business just because you probably didn't want to come to work that day. I truly felt bad for the manager or owner guy going around every table making sure everything was okay. He didn't have to do that. That's why you hire employees for. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager or owner still made it better for us. But our family only ate for like 20 minutes and just left.

as someone who lives in an area with great kbbq variety, i can safely say this place beats everything ive ever had.theres two options to choose: regular and premium AYCE. we chose the premium and...my god... was it worth it. for 59$ you can have the juiciest, most marbled cuts of short rib youll ever get at its price point.the panchan and sides were top notch and everything was good. most people judge kbbq based on the quality of panchan, and i can tell you that based on that, this place deserves a 6/5.the service was attentive and fast, the interior was classic industrial/modern korean, theres nothing more you can ask for. i just wish to come back again and try it all over.

Ate at Grams for the first time. My friend chose this place to dine at. I’m usually a creature of habit and stick to my go to favorite KBBQ joints: Zip in Tustin, or Shik Do Rak. I was pleased with the dining experience here. Food quality and choices of meat options were great based on the menu set options. We went with the Premium AYCE B menu. It was good. My favorites were the sliced beef belly, sliced brisket, and sliced beef tongue. Servers were nice and attentive. Will be returning to Grams in the future.

The food is good compared to lots of ayce kbbq places. The meat quality does go down each round though.
