I love the rice cakes from here and it is always the standard! Usually, the service is always amazing and sweet like visiting your Grandma's house. Unfortunately today, had a negative experience with customer service on how they were snappy and a bit rude on top of not serving the people in the order they came in, but more the loudest.

Great place to get your dduk for parties & gatherings! Very yummy & well packaged! Great prices too!

I was craving some Korean snacks and found this hidden gem through yelp and had to check it out! This bakery has the best mochi and rice cakes in town! The mochi was so soft and fluffy on the outside and combined with the red bean, it was perfection. I also got an order of their sesame snacks which were absolutely amazing. They have the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch that make them super addicting and are apparently healthy as well. The owners were super kind and attentive. I'll definitely be coming here often whenever I'm craving Korean sweets.

Such a cute shop! Walked in while waiting for my pickup order at a restaurant next door and was surprised to see such a good selection of fresh rice cake. I bought two trays and it was very high quality and tasty! Their service was really nice as well. I will be coming back to order a large platter for events.

I walked in not knowing what to expect or knowing anything about what they make/sell... I just saw the picture on yelp and was curious. I was at first a little confused as it's not to me (might be a bit ignorant i duno) an obvious "shop". It presented as a large room with some bagged goods in the front and then the owner was in the back seemingly making more rice cake stuff. She saw us and was so sweet and nice. The products don't have any labels which added to the feeling that it's just home-made and packed rather than being like from a grocery store, but as a result I was a little confused of what the food was... But the owner came over and answered any questions with a smile on her face that made my initial apprehension go away immediately. There were many options and they all looked extremely pretty and delicious. I picked some assortment of 4 different rice cake variants, and i have to really say, they were SO delicious. After eating them i can confidently call this spot one of my favorites in Garden Grove area, and I will definitely come back and recommend them to all my friends. The assortment was $7, and it's extremely filling and even feels decently healthy too, fresh, and using great ingredients. Texture was really good, not that i'm a knowledgeable critic or anything... but I was immediately so impressed. I tried to give tip and she refused it. I don't leave reviews but just really wanted to cuz of the great experience I had. I already ate it so I can't take a picture but trust when I say they were really pretty and a great size for the cost.

I'm so glad that I found this place because my favorite dduk jip in OC shut down a few months ago and I wanted to find a dduk cake for my mom's birthday! -- but apparently according to my mom, this place has been here forever! I'm surprised I didn't visit sooner because I love how the dduk tasted and the people here were very friendly.RICE CAKE: The dduk was really delicious. Very good quality ingredients used in the dduk and I'll definitely be back to try regular rice cakes as well. I was a bit surprised by the presentation but it's cute for my mom (who is in her mid 40s). I didn't know they were going to write something on the cake but it was cool! I called in about a week before I picked up and they had it prepared by the time I picked it up. The cake is HUGE and can definitely feed up to 10 people. It was $60 for this cake and like I said, the ingredients were fresh and good quality. CUSTOMER SERVICE: OMG they saw me looking at the injeolmi rice cake and gave me a plate on the house. It was so delicious and I was able to share it with my family as a cherry on top treat! That was very generous of them, I really appreciated it.Overall, I will probably come back for the dduk cake because it's my parent's favorite type of cake for their birthdays. I want to come back when I'm in the area to try other rice cakes as well. Totally recommend!

This is their official page! I have been going to this Korean rice cake bakery for years! This is NOT a new place. I have tried most rice cake bakeries in SoCal but this is by far the best! So fresh, delicious, nutritious!!! They do not only have the traditional rice cakes but they are super innovative too so you will find rice cakes you cannot find elsewhere. They have special rice cakes filled with nutritious nuts and beans with no additives including sugar for people with food restrictions. And these are so delicious just the same! I am so sad that I have recently moved out of CA so I make sure I come here on one of my days while visiting to make sure I get the chance to buy extra to freeze and take home with me!They also have wonderful powders they make on site chock full of nutrition, fiber and yumminess for quick breakfasts or even meals they make with 0 additives!During special Korean holidays and at the end of the year, I also buy their Korean sweets and treats which they also make and package in beautiful boxes that I always purchase for gifts. And anyone who's received them look forward to getting them the following year from me and if they are in the area, they make their way to purchase more because they are absolutely delicious - memories of living in Korea flood back when they eat these treats!Everything is delicious! And I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough! All my friends and family who have been lucky enough to taste their rice cakes and snacks/treats have thoroughly enjoyed them.If you want something traditional or want something innovative....any rice cakes, this is the place for you! Don't waste your money elsewhere or waste your calories on subpar rice cakes from the grocery stores or other places!!!!

Best dduk in OC, no need to look elsewhere. If you want rice cakes sourced from the moon rabbits themselves, this is the place to be. Service is so good I felt like I was walking on red carpet. 5/5 all day every day

This bakery has the freshest & tastiest rice cakes in socal (and honestly in all of california). I literally think about the ricecakes all the time because I live in SF where there is no good dduk. The injeolmi, songpyun, and yakbap are so delicious! Also I highly recommend getting the roasted black sesame which i have been using religiously for my baking and cooking at home (it beats store bought black sesame by miles). The owner and owner’s daughter are super sweet and deliver the best customer service. Get your dduk from here!

Korean rice cakes in their traditional form. Extremely fresh which is key for rice cakes. Every second made is a second it’s staling so I’m always impressed they keep it fresh as possible

My Korean friend recommend me this place. Said it was approved by her mother, that's how you know this place is legit. What appealed the most to me about this place was was that they had small servings of the items for you to try. I like trying a little bit of everything before buying a big portion of it. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the small colorful rice cakes that had a sweet nutty filling and the rice cakes covered in in grounded up sesame powder. The rice cakes themselves were soft and chewy!

This place won me over because I love dduk. Wish I lived closer so I could go often!
