Pretty disappointed in the declining quality. I have a favorite roll and the first time I ordered it, it looked exactly like the picture and it was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. Every single time I've ordered it since, it has gotten worse and worse. The sauce shown in the picture isn't even included anymore. The garnishes on the mussels are not included either. One of the chefs here was extremely disrespectful to my boyfriend when he asked if the roll had changed. We used to get sushi from this place so often, but they have now lost two long time customers due to the disgusting behavior of the sushi chef. It's embarrassing that a grown man doesn't know how to treat paying customers. We found a new sushi spot around the area that is a much higher quality than this place. The sushi was once delicious, but we won't be coming back ever again.

My wife and I love this place. We have been going to and ordering takeout from here for about 6 years, and its a staple in our pickiest lineup of restaraunts in North OC. Our only regret is that we dont live closer, and cant come more often!

Sushi was good, our server, Bebe, was so sweet and helpful. However, “the boss” was so rude which ruined the experience. He was hostile, steamrolled, talked down to his staff, and talked loudly/unkindly about patrons as if we couldn’t hear him. We could. I wouldn’t go here again just because the owner was so awful, no matter how good the sushi was.
We made a simple request about removing avocado from a roll which I think upset him, and we found our next order of rolls to be poorly wrapped. So spiteful, yuck!

I live in the area and love going to HanaMaru sushi with my partner. We enjoy the food and the pleasant staff who always kindly greet us when we enter and leave!
They have a wide variety of rolls so there should be something for everyone. I've enjoyed all the different ones I've tried so far. For appetizers, chicken karaage and edamame are my go-to's. They do have other items on the menu that aren't sushi so if you do come with non-sushi lovers, there will still be something for them.
For parking, just be warned it might be a little difficult depending on the time of day you go as it's in a small lot that multiple businesses share. However, we've been lucky so far in usually finding a spot either at the right time or not having to wait too long before someone else leaves.

After a day at Disney I was looking for a sushi place but by daughter was craving Ramen. I’m so glad I found this place because it satisfied both our cravings. Food was great, service was superb, and price was reasonable. I will definitely be coming back after our Disney days.
