1. The bibimbap and stew were comforting and filling! 2. The spot has casual-cozy vibes! 3. There are only indoor tables! 4. The staff were friendly and attentive! 5. Parking lot is small, but street parking is available as well! Note: There are separate restrooms for men and women! Photo: Oyster Bibimbap, Gochujang Stew, Side Dishes

Amazing food and amazing service! We got Bossam and Cold Noodles and the portions were huge and so good. Support this mom and pop shop

I got the short rib soup and it came out pretty fast. The soup was good but I wasn't a big fan of the banchans. The people working there were nice and I would come back to try other menus. Don't expect too much for the banchans though. The place isn't too big but enough space available.

Was craving spicy cold noodles and decided to check this place out. Arrived at 6:30pm on Wednesday and little busy we took the last available table. About 8-10 tables total. We ordered the spicy cold noodle, pork bulgolgi and ox bone soup (no bones beef slices). I love cold noodles so this was an easy 5/5. Pork bulgolgi is good but didn't expect it to be spicy 4/5. BF had the ox bone soup he said it was really good, especially for the price. I really enjoyed the 9 banchan dishes we were served, vary good variety and everything was fresh. Service was fast and attentive. Fairly priced meal in comparison to other Korean restaurants in GG area. Will definitely be back more often.

Nice, little mom and pop Korean shop hidden away in a plaza off of Garden Grove Ave. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but slowly filled up by the time we left on a Saturday night. First impression, I liked all their banchan offerings, which included 9 items. My favorites were the fishcake, radish, broccoli, and bean sprouts which we got more refills of. Between the three of us, we ordered the Pork Back-Bone Stew ($17.99), Ox Bone Soup ($15.99), and Spicy Cold Buckwheat Noodles ($15.99). The ox bone soup is pretty simple as you add the salt, vinegar, mustard, and pepper for flavoring. There wasn't much ingredients in there though. I enjoyed the flavor and tender meat of the pork back bone stew, but didn't like the veggies in this. The cold noodles were a huge bowl and always so refreshing to eat. The contrast between spicy and cold is a unique balance in your mouth. Overall, the dishes were all pretty standard for me, as I enjoyed their banchans most. Nothing that really stood out to me, but not bad either. Tip: there's also self-serve barley tea for you up on the counter.

Very good food, and flavorful. Service was nice. Will be back again to try the buckwheat noodles. This place reminded me of Korea.

Took the family to dinner. Great home cook food. Service was fast and friendly. Great food and great prices. Loved short rib and spicey beef soups. Dumplings and beef bulgogi were really tasty and enjoyed the omlette rice with ham and veggies.Banchans were greatly!Hidden gem! Will definitely be back for more.

Such a cute little hidden restaurant that gave me and my husband vibes of when we visited Korea... We came in on a rainy day wanting some broth and it did not disappoint! Their galbi tang is very different from other places from how much egg is in it but it was still really yummy, the meat one their bones was probably the most I've ever gotten and I've had a lot of galbi tang, huge plus for me! If you're not a hot mustard kinda person ask for it without it for the meat. Portions are huge , we did have some fried rice that was left over , after we ate we came home and knocked out, that's how you know you are full and satisfied Service was speedy there was a good amount of tables/ people picking up to go in there when we were there.

We dined here last Friday night sort of accidentally and were very pleasantly surprised. We had intended to try another Korean restaurant nearby that said no line on Google but the line was out of control by the time we got there. We looked up another place that ended up being closed and saw Hanuri. So we decided to throw caution to the wind and went in. The side dishes were so yummy but also there were a lot of them! That's a pet peeve of mine. When there are just a few. I feel cheated because the side dishes can make or break the meal IMO. But it didn't stop there! The short ribs, bibimbap, dumpling soup were so tasty too. And unlike so many of the popular, hip Korean places that charge a ton and serve mediocre food, these prices are totally reasonable creating even more value for the diner. I can't wait to go back to Hanuri!

My wife, daughter, and I ate here on Friday. We tried to go to a different restaurant that ended up having a crazy wait time. We looked on Yelp and saw Hanuri, and decided to try it. We were so happy we found it! The service was great - quick and friendly- but more importantly the food was amazing! We knew as soon as the side dishes came out that we'd found a great new spot for Korean. We ended up getting the rice cake dumpling soup, bibimbap, beef bulgogi, and beef short rib beef bbq. Now this is a "mom-n-pop" type restaurant, so if fancy decor is more important than your food you may be happier somewhere else. But if you want a clean, friendly environment with outstanding food - this is the place.

We got stone bowl bibimbap and pork katsu. The katsu could have fed 2 or 3 people! Such kind service, and still so attentive even though they were busy in a Saturday night!

Good traditional Korean food. Great soups to soothe a cold or flu. Bone soup is like mom's cooking.
