Great spot with a wide selection of European foods and chocolates you usually can’t find anywhere. Their fresh bread and Romanian/European dishes are always delicious. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and makes the place feel like home.

What an amazing place! International Meat and Deli in Garden Grove you won our hearts. We will be joining a dozen friends on a trip to Romania this fall. Today, we gathered to plan last minute details and learn about the culture of Romania. We sought Romanian food to share, and Ferrnz and his staff outdid themselves. We are enjoying platters of delicious sausages (both hot and cold), and a selection of decadent desserts. If you are seeking attentive service, an amazing selection of Eastern European grocery items, this is the place for you.

This cozy family-owned deli-bodega exudes a warm, welcoming charm. It’s a humble space packed with Romanian imports—spices, mustards, pickles, jams—all beautifully organized and on display. The staff are consistently praised for being attentive, helpful, and deeply passionate about the food they serve. Mititei (skinless sausage) is Romanian-style sausage—savory, mild, juicy, with impeccable texture. I will tell you it’s “the best thing I tasted in a long time,” and once grilled properly, its caramelized crust really seals in flavor. Imagine walking in and trying a platter of sausages—three parts juicy skinless mititei, one part smoky link—just grilled right, dripping with juice. Pair that with a langos loaded with sour cream and dill, and finish with a kürtőskalács or dobos slice. All while chatting with friendly staff who share the story behind their recipes. Pure Romanian comfort, right in Garden Grove. Keep up the great work

The food is just perfect. I usually come here to get all my needs for holidays and more. The owners know what they are doing. It’s a family business like it should be, well managed. They do ship. Next time I don’t have to drive 200miles to get the yummy food (cârnati, slănină, jumări) and the cake (tort doboș)!

This place feels like home. Every time I walk into International Meats & Deli, I’m immediately hit with the most nostalgic and comforting smells that remind me of my childhood. From the freshly sliced meats to the traditional European imports, everything here is top-notch. The flavors are authentic, the quality is consistently excellent, and it’s honestly hard not to leave with more than I planned to buy.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help! Whether it’s recommending a new sausage to try or just sharing a warm smile. It’s rare to find a spot that feels both like a local gem and a piece of your own history.

If you grew up with these kinds of flavors or you’re looking to experience a real taste of Eastern European comfort food, this deli is a must. Truly a hidden treasure in Garden Grove. Also, try the fresh Langos - a fresh doughnut of sorts that we had as a savory option topped with sour cream and shredded cheese. Such a great treat.

Yesss please!!! What an amazing opportunity for some authentic home fare! Whether you are familiar or never heard of: Lángos, (authentic Hungarian street food), stuffed cabbage, mici/cevapi (soft flavor bombs of sausages), their (other) smoked sausage, or chimney cakes (on the weekends).. Open your mind and take this incredible opportunity for a trip to the other side of the world. You will not regret it, promise. You may find the space a bit cozy. Though if you ever had the chance to experience lunch on the old continent, even the way it’s set up is exactly how this is it’s done there. Much love and thanks to Mónika and the rest of the staff, who brought me right back to my childhood and gave my friends who never been an incredibly rare chance to try and fall in love with the cuisine!
