I do not recommend this shop at all. Maybe I just got a bad batch but it tasted like it had already turned. I tried it twice just to be sure and had to throw it out as it didn't taste right. I would recommend Seoul Do Soon Yi over this shop.

They don't speak English well, but... the lady got me fresh (made that day) batch from the back and not from the front fridges. It was so fresh, that I had to have it sit non-refrigerated for a couple of extra days at home. Nappa cabbage used was the good stuff. Overall taste was better than what you get in restaurants or markets. but not as bomb as Seoul Do Soon Yi Kimchi Company down the same street. Unless you plan on eating the whole big jar soon, I recommend you get the cabbage uncut to keep them fresh and crispy longer.

I love this local kimchi. Cheaper and fresher. It is not salty as other market selling. The Koreans don't speak English but they try to pick the newest and fresh one for you. Highly recommended!!!

searching for a good kimchi .... finally came here , because of yelp . a lady at the cashier asked what do i want , i look around it , in the cooler has some varieties of kimchi , like radishes kimchi with leaves on , small radishes cut , medium radishes cut and marinated ... and napa cabbage ... they all looking and smell good ... i glanced around in the back there were 4 to 5 workers in the back . all hand made and fresh factory kimchi . they made kimchi and distribute to h mart , restaurants around here in cali . i got all the varieties of kimchi they have , the bill was 72 dollars , i was very happy with it without tasting it , yet ! but i know they are all good by the look and smell of it .

Drove by this plaza a gazillion times and finally stop by to get some kimchi. When I walked in, the ladies in the back all looked at me. I said hello and a simple bow. They acknowledged and went back to work. Phew. A lady came out and asked what I needed. I asked for a small bag of cucumber and small jar of kimchi. She asked how sour did I want the kimchi. I said not too sour. She went to the back and got some freshly made ones. Yay! She was very nice and accommodating. I tasted the kimchi....delicious. I've had my fair share of soggy kimchi but this, the slight crunch of the ends of the cabbage was divine. Sweet music to my ears. Anyways, I used to go to the other kimchi store way down the street. They only had gigantic jars so I really appreciate this store having different sizes; plus on the jar it says no MSG.
