I never get dissapointed eating from here. The food is fresh, the agua frescas especially the pepino one is really good, and they serve the food pretty fast when it is not that busy. Service wise - Danny is very helpful and ricky is super nice.Atmosphere- The location itself is nice to eat with friends.

Kind of hit or miss-- their food is good when made right but that's the issue...consistency. Have purchased from them a handful of times, usually their quesabirria. Sometimes, it's perfect, juicy, flavorful, great consome. Other times, dry, bland, lacking. They are pretty pricy and for that price, you'd expect consistency. Ordered to go, their quesadilla with birria does not deliver well. So so soggy. Their quesabirrias do better. I'm assuming the sogginess came from them packaging the quesadilla with the pico/bed of cabbage? All the liquid from that just sat under the quesadilla, made 50% of the $15 quesadilla inedible.

Pro tip. The regular tacos are good. Very tasty. But always go for the tacos Tijuana. Totally worth the upgrade. I love me that yellow tortilla ‍

Amazing food! Vegan options are amazing and always love bringing people here especially since it's located in Steel-craft and is such a cute, outdoor place. Definitely recommend and worth your money! They load you up with sides.

Stopped by for dinner with a friend recently and had some delicious food here!Located at the Steel Craft food hall in Garden Grove, La Taqueria serves up delicious Mexican food especially with a focus on Birria and this is one of 4 locations they have in Southern California.I ordered their Orden Birria Quesatacos and a chicken tamale since it's currently the holidays and that's when you start seeing tamales on menus. It was cold so I was craving some birria tacos and I was not disappointed here. The birria tacos were delicious with a great consome to dip into and the fillings was flavorful and a good portion! Their hot salsa is quite hot and I was sweating a little after pouring it on my tacos. The tamale was tasty and it had a good amount of filling inside and it wasn't too soggy or dry and worked well with the salsas!Overall, this is a great spot in the Steel Craft food hall and service here was great with the cashier being quite friendly. The ambience is pretty good with plenty of people having a good time from the other spots and the brewery next door! It's a great place to dine and relax!

I tired the "plant base" birria and pastor. Both were very tasty! Had to wait a while to order though.

We ordered the Cali fries with carne asada and guacamole on the side due to an allergy.Fries were perfectly cooked, lots of meat and sour cream, a little light on the pico but the guacamole? If you can even call it that! More of a watery green salsa. Even my avocado allergic friend said she could eat that.4 stars for the guacamole disappointment but other than that they were great!

First, the service was really good. This was our first time and they helped us navigate the menu and recommended a good vegan option. I had three tacos and sampled their three plant based proteins and all of them were wonderful. Some of the best tacos I have ever. My girlfriend had the plant based al pastor quesadilla and she really loved it. Steelcraft is a fun place for a meal.Vegetarian options: They offer three different plant-based protein options. All taste great.Dietary restrictions: Vegan plant-based options available.Parking: Ample parking
