I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.

I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.

Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!

The service is always friendly, and the food comes out quickly, which makes the experience even better.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real Vietnamese food that goes beyond the usual. A hidden gem worth checking out!

Food is delicious! Its perfect that they dont have a long wait even though I have no idea why their lines aren't out the door. Service is just right, not overbearing and attentive enough (IYKYK). When we went there was a 10% discount! In this economy!?!

Finally a place that offers good Hu Tieu Nam Vang kho. Good and friendly service and staff. I will def be coming back.

Loi’s Kitchen really hit the spot.
Their dry noodles with crispy roast pork were amazing — the noodles were perfectly chewy, and the pork had that crackling, golden skin with tender meat underneath. Simple, flavorful, and just like home. If you’re craving good Vietnamese comfort food, this place is worth it.

Flavorful bún mắm, the broth was cooked to perfection with a bold flavor and delicious flavor, the noodle was al dente, I could taste the freshness in the shrimp and the squid, cabbage and water spinach was fresh and crunchy, please keep up that recipe, it was delicious.
Rau má đậu xanh was also delicious.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food, Loi’s Kitchen is an absolute must-try!

The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and welcoming — perfect for a quick lunch or a casual get-together. Their bún riêu cua đồng (crab noodle soup) is seriously amazing: the broth is rich and flavorful without being heavy, the crab meat is fresh and delicate, and the toppings are generous. Add a little shrimp paste for that extra traditional kick — you won’t regret it!

Besides bún riêu, they also offer delicious dishes like bún mắm, hủ tiếu, and cơm chiên , all cooked with care and authentic flavors. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service is consistently friendly and fast.

I ordered the Bánh hỏi Heo Quay (woven vermicelli with pork belly), Cơm Chiên Dương Châu (house special fried rice), Bò Lúc Lắc with Cơm trắng (shaken beef with white rice), and Chả giò(egg rolls). Everything was really fresh. There were plenty of combination lettuce leaves and cilantro for wrapping and dipping. Was given two sauce cups and it was more than enough. Really delicious and filling!

Located at Brookhurst and Garden Grove Boulevard. A very quaint niche at the end of the strip mall that houses other Asian cuisines (Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese) along with some boba and dessert shops. Very popular place on weekends. Arrive early for parking. No problem parking on weekdays.

Mom and pop restaurant. I don’t go there for the service or ambiance but the food is good. Wishing they would make the fish sauce a little less sweet 😀

Best bún mắm in garden grove. It has balance of salt, sweet and mắm. Seafood is plenty and fresh. The bbq pork skin is still crunchy in the broth, incredible!!!
