The matcha soft serve here is seriously so amazing, because the quality is so thick, strong, and tastes purely matcha. The staff here crafts each ice cream so well that I wouldn't mind coming back and recommending this place and their ice cream to everyone I know! There's plenty of parking and ambiance was great- very chill, relax with a couple of tables and board games by the wall for you to hang out with your friends, family and significant other!Parking: Lots of parking in a shared plaza!

I tried this place for the first time. I got the matcha vanilla ice cream. Loved the bitter and flavourful taste. Service is good! Definitely go back to try more matcha drink. Highly recommend!

I recently tried the matcha soft serve at this place after rebranding and it's a must-try!All the items I had, including the Iced Hojicha float with matcha soft serve, matcha soft serve in a cone, and hot kuromitsu roasted soybean cream latte, were absolutely delightful. Each visit promises a flavorful experience worth repeating.

Soft serve in 3 flavors: vanilla, hojicha, and matcha. They were out of hojicha, so we had matcha cones and sundaes. Cones were $7.50 and sundae was $11.50. Sundae has a lot of different ingredients in it, but the combination did not really work. Stick with the cone/cup. Matcha flavor is very good, not overly sweet and no artificial tastes. Shiratama mochi balls are a good add-on for the matcha soft serve.

This place is the one for anything matcha! I personally like the matcha soft serves the most. The matcha flavor is very strong and has a good quality, unlike some other so-called matcha desserts with powdery, artificial flavors.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. Customer service was fantastic. We were helped by a friendly young lady named Amy. I ordered the matcha and hojicha swirl sundae $11 ish and an iced matcha strawberry. The soft serve was amazing and tasted high quality. The rest of the sundae which included jelly, red bean, corn flakes and matcha cake and some mochi were just ok. The mochi was soft on the outside but hard on the inside. It makes me think it wasnt fresh or not properly made. The drink was ok. The strawberry syrup was off putting tasted like nesquik and overpowered my drink so that i didnt taste any matcha. I would say come for the soft serve. The drink was about $7 ish.

Straight to the point for this review. The star of this shop is the soft serve. Get the mix of matcha and hojicha. Flavor and texture were top notch. Excellent altogether. Get the soft serve, probably good to stay away from the sundae with red bean and cake. Drinks are average. Service was excellent and interior was clean and well maintained. Definitely come give this place a try.

Inside kpop music was playing pretty loud the entire time so if you wanted to sit and relax keep that in mind. Ordered the matcha with shaved ice float, the ice cream itself was pretty good but shaved ice was coarse, crunchy not fluffy like you would find in highly regarded shaved ice places. Disappointingly the ice cream pile on top was hollow. With tax and tip it was $16 for one Ice cream float so I expected the ice cream to at least not be hollow

MATCHA love for Garden Grove's 1st organic matcha cafe, and trust me, the hype surrounding @mycha_gardengrove is well deserved! Finally got to try out this spot after seeing it all over IG, and this matcha fanatic here was blown away by the ceremonial quali-TEA of all their matcha products. You can tell that they only use the highest grade matcha for their sweets, which are light, grassy and not too sweet, without any hint of bitterness. While their golden shogun soft serve (matcha and vanilla topped with edible gold) was my favorite, other honorable mentions include their delightfully roasted Hojicha Maiko Special and Mango + Peach Cloud drinks, which were all surprisingly light and flavorful without being too sweet. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Garden Grove area, and supporting this little gem!

Yummy local matcha dessert spot that's open with a versatile menu! We were in the ice cream mood but loved that they offered drinks. :3 My friend and I split a shaved ice with matcha/hojicha soft serve (includes matcha syrup, red beans, mochi, chestnut and ice cream). At first we thought the orange bit was a lone mango but we were pleasantly surprised of the texture for the chestnut! The matcha was earthy and bitter, just how I like it! It actually tasted delicious as it melted with the matcha syrup (and mixing it all together). Service: the team member helping us out was so sweet and helpful! Was also looking out for us in informing us of the $0.50 card processing fee under $15. Ambiance: the store is bright and cozy with seating. However, it did get loud and busy at times being a Saturday night. My friend and I were able to chill for an hour and chat. Overall: Solid local spot at night with a stellar team! Seating can be a hit or miss depending on when you go. We felt it was a bit on the pricey side at $12 but worth it when sharing.

I was very confused with how this store was marketed. A lot of photos on the Yelp and Google show them using matcha maiko labels, so I thought this location would have the same quality as them but it didn't. If this store isn't serving that brand, I don't think they should be keeping those images on their website. Or, if this is served during another time, it needs to be made clear. In addition, the matcha was premade, not made to order. My vegan friend wasn't able to try the matcha because of this (they only use whole milk). I wasn't a huge fan of the matcha since it seems like they put more milk to dilute it. There is also a 50 cent charge on your credit card if you order under $15, which is not generally common at boba places nearby.
