delicious & crispy, best for take out for the fam but I did have a quick munch dine-in (:
Came here on a Thursday around 5pm. We ordered the combo tray and rice paper salad for dine-in and it took almost an HOUR to get our food. We ordered our food and got our receipt and sat down on 1 of the 4 tables that they had. We saw a lot of people come and go and thought they were just extremely slammed with orders since they blew up on social media. I was busy with my toddler, so, I didn’t really pay close attention to the time (my fault). Around the 45 min mark, the lady at the front register I guess kinda wondered why we were just sitting there and asked if we ordered already… I was baffled… there’s gotta be a better way to get the orders in a timely manner and some accountability. Completely unacceptable.
It’s unfortunate cause the food is really good. This establishment is probably best for take out orders and best to call ahead of time to order. Not the best spot to dine in since it’s very small and people chain smoke outside.

Ordered the combo and it did not disappoint! Pork was super crispy and juicy. Lemongrass beef was flavorful (I think I liked this even more than the pork!) Combo comes with a free drink
Not too many tables inside so would recommend take out or small groups only.

I requested a mixed banh mi, see photo. It’s not on the menu. Pork is really crunchy. Betel leaves wrapped grilled beef lends a nice flavor to the sandwich. Expect to pay a few bucks for the mixed meat. It’s worth it.

Sunday 7/27/25 Lunch at Quan Ghien with my sister. We ordered the crispy roasted pork and beef wraps with vermicelli noodles and veggies and a canmango drink. It was delicious, refreshing, large portions, and great prices! The chef perfected the crispy roasted pork; just the right crispy not hard skin.
Ryan, serving staff, was friendly and service customers when he can with his many tasks.
The restaurant is very small with about 5 tables so lunch and dinner hours would be packed to dine in. Many get it to go.
I recommend trying out this restaurant. I will be going back with my guests.

Crispy pork+ Vermicelli (Heo quay bánh hỏi) is delicious and reasonable price. The tray is $17 and can fit for me and my mom. Now I have a favorite place to go when we crave for some crispy pork.
Parking: They have plenty parking in the back.

In my opinion, so far this restaurant has one of the best rice paper salad (Bánh tráng trộn) in Little Saigon. Taste great, not salty like many other places.

This review is almost purely for their CRISPY PORK BELLY (thit heo quay don). That alone is 5 stars for me. Unless you go to the local chinese BBQ stores to buy by the pound, very few restaurants sell crispy pork belly as a menu dish. The few places that do sell it can be a hit or miss in terms of freshness and crispiness.Milky Tea Bar is a small eatery in a cramped strip plaza. Their menu consists of a handful of dishes they specialize in as well as select menu of boba drinks. For dine in, they have just a few small tables. I have ordered here twice so far over the phone for takeout. My family and I love their+ ($17) banh hoi heo quay (vermicilli sheets with crispy pork belly) and+ ($22) banh hoi combo, which is half heo quay and half bo la lot (vermicilli with crispy pork belly and beef wrapped in betel leef). Both dishes comes with the usual lettuce, herbs, and fish sauce to enjoy with it. The crispiness is CRISPY, even into the next day with a quick pop in the air fryer. For the quality and quantity, the price is fair.We also tried their Bot Chien (fried rice flour cakes) —$12–was also was good and crispy as well as the accompanying sauce. We have not yet tried their drinks or few other dishes yet but have loved the ones mentioned above enough to continue supporting.
Parking: small strip plaza, parking is limited during dinner rush due to other eateries in plaza
