One thing you have to try here is the Kem Bo or Smashed Avocado with Durian Gelato & Nuts. This is seriously the most addicting dessert. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. The quality of the durian gelato is fantastic and the nuts complement the dessert well. There is smashed avocado and little cubes of it and it's the perfect mix of both textures. My mom, dad, and aunt all loved it and I can't wait to show more people.

I came here on Saturday for the first time to try out their character ice cream cups. I had the teddy in the flavor cookies n cream and the Mickey in the flavor matcha. Overall, the gelato was very soft and creamy, plus the characters are so cute! My whole order arrived quickly as I had only waited for a few minutes before they were done making it. There was plenty of seating and the whole place was pretty clean. I will definitely come back again!

We had the coconut icecream served in coconut. It was fresh coconut as the juice and the coconut meat were served as well. The place is clean and cute. Good experience. Will come back to try the avocado + durian.

I was intrigued by this spot for their character ice creams, but decided to get a better value with two scoops instead of something that's just nice for the picture. The server was nice and offered us samples before I decided on the Creme Brulee and Green Thai Tea. I would've wanted the Matcha, but there was only one scoop left and it tasted old and slimey. I got two scoops for $5.29 plus a waffle bowl (+$1.07). Something about this ice cream tasted very thick and creamy, which made the flavors a bit muted. If you're already eating at this plaza, this is a good spot to get some desserts. It's not too memorable for me though, so wouldn't go out of the way for this.

Little Asian-inspired gelato place located in the plaza where we just had our dinner. There were a lot of seating when we went there and the place is so cute! I went here with my family and we got to try different flavors of the gelato. I'm a durian lover, so I know when it's in Garden Grove, their durian must be dang good, so I decided to get 2 scoops with durian and coconut, and of course, it didn't disappoint at all. It comes with a mini waffle on the side, and they also offer different kinds of desserts. I would recommend and come back if I'm in the area again!

Did you know that KEM offers catering services? Because they catered for my wedding in November 2023 at Venue by Three Petals and the gelato was an absolute hit! During the planning process, I worked with Phoebe, the owner, who is very sweet and very quick at responding to all questions I had. We scheduled a day to go to the store and sample all the flavors - there are so many good ones, it was difficult to choose. So we settled on 4 flavors initially and Phoebe told us we could change our minds later on if needed. We confirmed our final flavors with Phoebe about two weeks before the wedding, and KEM makes the gelato fresh the day before the wedding and uses fresh fruit and ingredients. They arrived at the Venue and their team set up the gelato cart, decor, and toppings. The service time is 2 hours, and since our reception began at 7pm, we had the gelato cart open from 8pm to 10pm. When the gelato cart opened, a bunch of guests ran to line up but KEM was very efficient and the lined moved quickly. At the end, there was a little bit leftover, and Phoebe packaged the remaining into pints for us to take home! After the wedding, so many guests told us how much they loved the gelato. Thank you Phoebe and team for being an amazing part of our special day! For anyone looking for a wedding dessert vendor, highly recommend KEM!

This review is for the gelato - I ordered the black sesame and avocado. Both were amazing. The black sesame was VERY rich in sesame flavor and was my favorite. The avocado also was veryyy avocado in flavor and not too sweet or watered down. I tried the crème brûlée gelato too which I felt was a bit sweet. Service was a little slow because there were so many people.
The ice cream here is so delicious! My only co.plaint is seating..I wish Theresa's more. We had 4 different ice cream flavors.

The interior is absolutely pleasant for the eyes. I ordered the avocado with durian gelato and I practically inhaled it. This was incredible and such a sweet, deserving dessert for all the sweet lovers out there! It's definitely got the vibe for a quick catchup for drinks and desserts. They are fast on the order which is a plus for me!

I love it here. Great service, pleasant ambiance with amazing gelato. I came from Rowland Heights just to have this gelato. My favorite of them all is avocado gelato. It has that chewy texture which I really love.
