The service attitude at this store is very poor. I brought my service dog into the store to eat, but she told me it was not allowed and kept saying “no” to me. I explained that my dog has certificates, yet she still refused. I’m not sure if this behavior is illegal, but it is extremely disrespectful. She didn’t even look me or my dog in the eye and refused to accommodate my service dog. I can’t comment on the food, but I can only say that the attitude was extremely bad.

This is the best korean hot pot place that I have been. We order the beef rib and octopus hot pot. The broth was so flavourful. It is so much better to eat with ramen. I would recommend the fried rice which they will mix with the broth and cook it on the pot after you’re done eating. The cons are that the restaurant is small and always crowded, so the wait is long. The price is on the higher side, especially if you go with 2 people. Would recommend go in with a big group and share the hot pot.

It's a house with a good feel.
It's been a while since I ate a delicious home-cooked meal and I was full.
I added more other ingredients (vegetables & tofu) than the main ingredients. There was 1/4 tofu in the stew. The bathroom facilities are old. The sign clearly shows its age. Because it was an old restaurant, I enjoyed it while thinking about what I ate in Korea. The ending to the meal was sikhye on ice, which was delicious.

I mainly ate seafood stew, but now I like braised ribs more. I have no doubt that it is the most popular menu item^^

In a small shopping plaza in Garden Grove is one of the more interesting Korean restaurants. They are known for the different casseroles. We ordered the spicy seafood casserole @spice level mild. Koreans food can be as hot as your palate can handle, mild is good for me. The side dishes are great and can steal the show. I love the corn on an iron plate with melted cheese.

The main dish is really good, soup satisfy and at the end of the meal. The leftover soup could be made into a fried rice or we can add ramen. We chose the latter, ramen absorbed all the seafood and flavor of the broth. Picture speaks a million words.
Service is good and all the waitresses are happy to give you extra napkins, chopsticks that we dropped on the floor and refill on water.

We ordered beef ribs w/ octopus and wine preserved crabs. The crab reminded me of my childhood! But pay attention it’s raw. The crab is never cooked.

I decided to give this place one more shot after our bad experience last time. We waited 30 mins and they were setting up the table for us when another group of people came behind us. They reset the table because it was a bigger party and told us we have to wait for a smaller table. They did not care that we had been waiting and the other party just walked up. I will never come back to this horrible restaurant.

I would rate it 0 if I could, we were on the wait list and our table was ready but since 2 big parties came in after us, they decided to kick us out and give our table to them.

Worst service ever, they were not even sorry for it.

The food is really good and the service is super. The waitresses are really nice and friendly and they won't let you do anything and do everything for you.
I ordered the Spicy Beef Rib Casserole with Octopus small size for 3 people as it is what this place is famous for. After including tax and tips it was $122. Make sure you order the ramen. It tastes much better with ramen than udon.
Definitely recommend it and will visit again. The moment I wrote this review, I already returned here for the second time as my family loves the food here.
You can also order this togo if you don't want to wait as this place is kinda small, so it will take a while to dine in.

맛만 보는 집

A restaurant specializing in Korean cuisine

A place with many menu items using crab.
I see a lot of people eating soy sauce crab sauce.
Soy sauce crab doesn't taste as fishy as I thought.
I think it would be great for people who like soy sauce crab sauce.
Mixed rice served with soy sauce crab sauce
It's a lot more delicious than you think!
This style would be great as a lunch menu!
Because seasoned crab comes as standard,
If you are worried about seasoning or soy sauce, go with soy sauce~
However, the seasoned crab sauce is too spicy.
GG for a loser like me~
The crab stew, which costs about $120, has surprisingly tasty vegetables.
The broth is good, so if you add sari noodles, it's pretty good.
If you like noodles, I recommend adding noodles~
Dinner menu on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is about $20.
If you want to eat because it is not possible,
I think I have to order crab for 30-40 dollars to eat it.
Because we cut and clean the crab ourselves.
It can be eaten relatively comfortably.
I had to do everything myself for the lobster I ate the day before.
This is heaven~

The store is small, but
There are quite a few tables.
Arrived around 6:30 on Saturday evening and waited for about 10 minutes.
It appears to be a store that requires waiting on weekend evenings.
When 5 or more people visit, a service tip is automatically included.
I feel quite comfortable because they give me the bill.
Six people drank soju and a few bottles of beer.
If you order 3 main dishes, it comes to about $367 including tip.
In America, all food except McDonald's
I feel like the cost-effectiveness is terrible haha.

Soy sauce crab sauce is not as bad as I thought~
