I met Clare, the owner of Passionate Pastry a few years back. I own an event planning company and we provide a cake or dessert station in our All Inclusive Packages at Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. Much to my disappointment a bakery in Long Beach (no name necessary) I had used for years, let me down just days prior to an event. I frantically looked for help with a custom dessert station order and found Passionate Pastry. With very little notice, Clare invited me to the bakery and assured me she would take care of the order. I have used her many times over the last few years and she has ALWAYS provided excellent service, competitive pricing and excellent products. You can move forward with confidence if you are considering Passionate Pastry for any of your baked needs.

This was the second bakery we tried for my daughter's wedding cake and after one taste my daughter knew this was the cake she wanted. It was simply delicious. I have to add that we took a chance of coming by at a late hour and without an appointment; honestly, I was surprised that the door was unlocked. The owner and her employees were busy working on a large holiday order yet Claire, the owner, took time to talk to us and give us a sample without rushing us, Beyond great customer service which can be rare these days! We did not get the cake topper to Claire until 5 days before the wedding, and it was much too large for the our original size. Claire made suggestions and modifications to make everything work beautifully - not just a make do situation. Not only was the cake gorgeous but we had so many compliments on how delicious the cake was.Claire is a true professional and yet very down to earth. No divas here! Thanks so much Claire for helping make our daughter's wedding fabulous!

Thank you Claire! The cake was really nice.. The raspberry filling was awesome, the cake itself was delicious and it was so nice to have REAL cake rather than that stuff they pass off to all the non-foodies everywhere else. The buttercreme frosting was incredible too.. so light and sugary goodness. Although we had a mild slip by the time it was served in the evening, that could have been due to me. It was very beautifully decorated. We all loved it. Thanks for whipping it up for me yesterday! And for the yelpers out there, be ready for something different than the box or store bought cakes. This bad boy was made with REAL butter and great sugar. Soo buttery, dense, and rich. Try this cake!

I cannot express the great, satisfied feeling I have towards this place, particularly Claire, enough. I live in ventura, an hour and 45 min away and called this place after days of searching. My great grandma, turning 90 was getting a huge party thrown for her by my family and I. She not only took my many calls and crazy expectations but exceeded my every expectation. The cake I asked for was a 90. Literally a 9 and a 0. And design on top. She not only did this for me but also decorated it according to my description and emailed examples. It was a GORGEOUS cake and not only that, it was the most delicious cake ever. And I don't like cake. Not too sweet, perfectly moist and frosting was outstanding. I and my family were more than satisfied. I would recommend this pastry shop to anyone that wants reasonable pricing mixed with excellence in service topped with great delivery in all aspects of expectation.

I've never been to the actual location but they sell the cookies at the coffee carts on our college campuses. They are all perfectly soft, but not overly soft and have all natural ingredients that you can read from the sticker on the front. Did I mention that they are huge? Like the size of your face for only about $2! My favorites are snickerroodle and the oatmeal chocolate chip ones!

Never been to their actual location but the local coffee cart at school sells their hand size cookies for $2 and they're pretty good for a between class break :D

Lucky me. I was at a meeting this morning where the person in charge brought a Passionate Pastry cake...What a wonderful treat...beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. I highly recommend their products when you need a cake or other pastry that is over the top!!! BTW, Passionate Pastry's products are also available at Whole Foods Markets.
