I have eaten here a few times and the food is honestly not bad. None of the dishes is the best around here, for example Pho Good across the street has better pho though Pho Hoan is still 2nd among the places I've eaten, one exception is pho satay since not many places sell it. Its advantage is that every dish is decent so you have a good variety to choose from.
It's crazy how simplicity works. The food just feels like home. Good portions. Seasoned well. All the usual sides. Quick service. Really hit the spot on a random rainy night, and was open on a random sunny weekday. Hot and cold foods were good. Only thing was the Viet Iced Coffee was not as strong as I'm used to. No biggie. Pricing is above average in my opinion, but it's cool if you don't eat out as much.
