This place deserves zero stars. The owner came to take our order, she had a nasty and bitchy attitude right from the start. She had the worst customer service skills, I have ever seen. She stood at the table, waiting for us to decide what we wanted to order with a confused, impatient and a bad mood the entire time she was taking our order.As she is walking away, after taking our order, I said to my party what is wrong with her? She turned around and got in my face and said What did you say? I told her, "you look like you're in a bad mood!" To which she told us to leave. I said, sure, no problem.There are HUNDREDS of Pho restaurants in Orange County, not just this shitty, dingy establishment. The customer service here is TERRIBLE and RUDE, especially from the girl that OWNS the place. The pho here is not that great. It is overly priced for the small portions that they give. The noodles are mushy and slimy. The atmosphere is not inviting to bring in customers. I would not recommend this place. I will not be coming back here, and I will be sure to tell my friends, family, and post on social media never to eat at this establishment.And before you come in with your rude ass comments to this review. Talking shit to people's reviews instead of being humble, is definitely not a good was to run your business.

Their pho is perfect for these cold evenings we've been having. Food always comes out quick and hot. For me a small bowl is enough since there's plenty of noodles and meat. Another reviewer had mentioned getting steamed sprouts would keep the broth hot and that is so true. Oh did I mention their table sate sauce is the best?? I can put that on everything! I try to support small businesses whenever possible knowing how challenging it can be and appreciate the dedication and effort this restaurant puts into maintaining consistency and quality.

If I could give zero star review, I would. Whoever the hell the woman was that came to take our order, she was so fucking rude. She had a sourpuss look on her face the entire time that she was taking our order. So when she walked away, my sister said what the hell is wrong with her? Why does she have such an attitude. She had the fucking nerve to turn around and say what did you say to me? so I looked at her in the eyes and said we said, why do you have such a sourpuss look on your face. And she said you can leave you with a shitty ass grin on her face.You better fucking believe we got up and left. I will never come back to that piece of shit restaurant ever again.Who the fuck talks to their customers like that? You are NOT the ONLY pho place in town. And who in their right mind would want to walk into a restaurant with someone who acts like they have a stick up their ass? That is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We wanted Pho on Saturday, didn't want to go out, so GrubHub it was. We chose Pho Hong Long and couldn't be happier! The 2 pho dishes were out of this world, well they at least brought back memories from our Vietnam trip... So delicious and fresh.We also ordered beef rib bones, and while tracking our GH order, we received a phone call that "mom forgot to send the beef rib bones" with the driver. They didn't offer a refund or a credit! No, their first solution was to get our address so they could personally deliver the missing item! We returned a bottle of wine for mom!Other businesses take note that this is the way to operate!

For Small Business Saturday, I decided to eat at Pho Hong Long for dinner. It wasn't too busy, so I was immediately seated and could sit at any available table. The ambiance has yellow lighting, which suits well as the sun sets after 5pm (during fall). I am also fond of the adequate spacing between each table. I ordered a small #3 pho with rare steak and brisket combo. You also have a choice of either thick or thin rice noodles. I asked the staff about the difference between their small and large bowls: small bowls use a white bowl while the larger bowls have red markings on the side. My order came within 5 minutes. The bean sprouts and mint leaves are also served on separate plates. The broth was very flavorful and the small bowl had generous portions. The noodles and vegetables were fresh, while the rare beef and brisket slices were so tender and not dry. Maybe next time if I have a bigger appetite, I will order this same pho on a large bowl.
