Can't remember if I found this place on Yelp or Instagram, but I had it bookmarked and wanted to check it out. This restaurant is in a less popular plaza, but that means there's plenty of parking. Upon entering it, there were plenty of seats available and friendly older waiters who greet you. When I sat down, he immediately asked if I was ready to order so I guess they have a lot of frequent customers. I ordered #2 - Hu Tiu Nam Vang. They'll ask if you want it dry or with soup, clear noodle or not, and whether you want your bean sprouts steamed. Once it comes to your table, you can add the chili/garlic vinegar condiment (highly recommend) or the other chili condiment on the table. The broth was soooo good, perfect amount of sweetness and savory balance. Plenty of thinly cut meat, couple of shrimp, quail egg, and minced pork. Portion size was good and there was plenty of noodle to eat with the broth. Price was $14, but I paid with credit card so that was a 4% surcharge. Total came out to around $17 with tip. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back!

Did not know much about these specific Vietnamese dishes. Our server was amazing and showed us pictures of each dish and tried to describe the flavors. She even went out of her way to make our experience more enjoyable! Loved it! Will come again!!

browsed on yelp for hu tiu nam vang and found it , it looks good and have a 4 stars rating , so i gave it a try . it was 9,30 am on the second day of chinese new year . parking ... no problem . sat right away , because there was one more table of guests . we ordered dry hu tiu my tho and dry hu tiu nam vang . with clear noodle . yes , it took 5 minutes for order to come . hu tiu nam vang sauce was black and at the bottom of the noodle bowl ? instead of a small bowl of sauce by itself by most of restaurants.... but the hu tiu my tho arrived with a small bowl of red sauce . both sauces were good and the broth was great , it had clear noodle , a quail egg , several of thin sliced of boiled pork and 1 small piece of pork rib , but no sliced of liver ? overall , it was good , very tasty . i really like the broth ! food is a solid 4 stars , service is a 4 stars , too. i bumped it up to a 5 stars rating , because it is a small family business and they sure need all the good rating they can get . i showed my support . give it a try . sign KE O MIEN XA

Best hu tieu Mỹ Tho! The service is great comparing to many Vietnamese restaurants. They attend to you and check occasionally throughout if you need anything else. My family and I often have lunch here as it's clean, tasty and they are courteous!

Be sure pick Hu Tieu Phuong, khô, dai, đặt biệt và sửa đậu nành lá dứa. In my own opinion, this place offers the best Hủ Tiểu khô. Nước sốt rất ngon. One of a kind. Friendly owners and services ok. Recommend!

Went here for lunch with my family because were craving for Hu tieu. Don't know if it's under new ownership? The noodles doesn't taste as good as it used to be.

Solid spot for hu tieu nam vang. I ordered the dry egg noodles, which admittedly was a bit undercooked and overly chewy, hence the 1 star deducted. Their broth (on the side) was ok, could have been a bit more umami. Overall the components were fresh, sauce was good, and compared to other hu tieu places in the area (Grandpa's, Owa, 405, Kim Ky, I haven't tried De Nhat yet), they were better. Service was super quick and friendly.

Phuong's Restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Little Saigon that I know of since I moved to California 23 years ago. Two of the best dishes this restaurant is known for are Hủ Tíu Nam Vang (Rice Noodles of Phnom Penh) and Hủ Tíu Mỹ Tho ((Rice Noodles of Mỹ Tho), serving in the soup style or dry style with soup broth on the side. I and my wife visited this restaurant last Friday and I ordered Hủ Tíu Mỹ Tho while my wife had Hủ Tíu Nam Vang, both in the dry style with clear glass noodles. The food came out in good portions with plenty of red sauce for Hủ Tíu Mỹ Tho and black sauce for Hủ Tíu Nam Vang. We were impressed with the qualities of the ingredients, and when mixed together with the sauces, we enjoyed the dishes with great satisfactions. To add more flavor to the taste and kick it up a couple of notches, we tried the pickled green chili and garlic pieces (condiments on the table) , and were not disappointed. Caution: the green chili was crunchy but HOT!It looked like Phuong's is a family ran restaurant. The service was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. There are other dishes on the menu, but we'll have those for our next visits.Definitely a comeback, and highly recommended if you want quality Hủ Tíu Nam Vang or Hủ Tíu Mỹ Tho. 5 stars with a smile.

Food was good and service was excellent! Their menu is quite limited as they specialize in hu tieu. I ordered medium number two dry. It came with a plate of veggies and a clear soup on the side. I felt the flavors were on the lighter side, not saying that's bad, just something to note. I would return to try their bo kho. Parking lot is small and its shared with a few other stores.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was just a child who could barely hold her own chopsticks sitting in a high chair. I'm now 27 years old and still enjoy the food here as I did when I was a kid. I love this restaurant and you're not going to find a better Hu Tieu place anywhere.

Ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang (with egg noodles). The portion is kind of small for $15! I rather go down the street and get a bowl that's cheaper and has more meats/toppings. Sorry, Phuongs Restaurant!
