Food is ok but too much MSG! I come here because of a high Yelp review! Ordered 3 dishes and 4 ice tea! I have allergy with MSG and I have to say after the meal, my neck and face get numb so bad! All the dishes are served in bad plastic! Very bad customer service! Ice tea is $3.50 too overpriced for an ice and tea this restaurant deserved to have 0 review. I could bot believed this restaurant can still survive... very bad... never come back! Please avoid this restaurant guys if you dont want to regret after paying an overpriced food!

Food here is always good! I usually get the chicken chowmein and the sticky rice and mango. Be careful with the sticky rice and mango though, it's so good it's addicting!! I'm constantly coming back for it!

I don't recommend dining in at this restaurant because you'll be served with takeout containers which I found very odd. Pad Thai was $17 and mango sticky rice was $13. Really small portions considering the price. Although the pad thai came out hot, it was really greasy. The sticky rice was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. The woman was very friendly though. She has a very warm personality which completely contrasts the energy of the whole restaurant which is dingy and unwelcoming. I really don't like giving negative reviews, but this place actually really scared me. I, personally, will not be coming back, but if this looks appealing to you, then please support the business. It seems like they are really popular as a takeout place.

Takeout Experience: Ordered the Pad See Ew with Chicken and the Panang Curry with Chicken. A bit on the pricy side as the noodles were $16 and the curry was $17. The noodles were cooked well and pretty nicely seasoned. I got it with medium spice and it had a nice amount of heat but nothing too crazy. It was a tad bit too salty but nothing too overpowering. 4.5/5 As for the panang curry, I would give it a review but whoever packed it did a terrible job and it spilled everywhere in the bag. It smelled good but so does my car. NA/5 Overall food was pretty solid but check your containers are sealed shut before you leave especially if you have liquids.

This is hands down the best Thai food in North OC, not even a question. They have a curry that is only rivaled by curries coming out of Thailand itself. All of the noodle dishes are perfectly cooked and perfectly spicy upon request, just make sure to say mild if you can't handle spice! The appetizers are also incredible, my favorites being the creams cheese wontons (yuuuuum) and the fried egg rolls (can I get another yuuuuum). Lastly, you will always be greeted by an incredibly friendly staff that will be excited to see you and have your food piping hot ready to go. If you are ordering from somewhere else, you are messing up, you truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Royal Thai!

Two words: SUPER FLAVORFUL!! I placed an order on Ubereats and was blown away! I ordered their chicken pad Thai, chicken pad see ew, and their chicken yellow curry (extra spicy). All dishes were bursting with flavors!! My bf really loved their pad Thai and pad see ew, while I thought the curry was perfectly spicy/tasty! I would come back here again!!

This is a must try Thai restaurant in entire OC or in my opinion anywhere else in So CAL, The only place that cooks bean sprout with Pad Thai and the noodles flavor and spice level were top notch. On top of all that great customer service . Definitely my new Thai food spot.

Everything extremely overpriced, almost all appetizers were over $14 and entrees were $20 average. At least the service was good, lady at the front was friendly.

I'm a Uber eats delivery driver and someone never showed up outside to get their food. It just so happened ( I'm assuming) to be curry with shrimp and pad Thai noodles with tofu!!! The pad Thai was amazing! I enjoyed the first couple bites of the curry but then the flavor started to turn more sweet then spicy and I didn't really like it!!! Maybe if the picture isn't curry someone can tell me what it is :)

The only item I ordered was the thai dumplings. I just wanted a small snack and was thinking I would be ordering the side order 4 piece for $5. I wasn't told the price and I didn't see the price on the screen until I put in my credit card. I was surprised by the price of $11+ when it showed up on the screen. Then given the small box I felt a little cheated to have paid $11 for these small dumplings. The dumplings on their own tasted good and crispy. It looked like they make their dumplings in house, but I'm not sure what was "thai" about it. I didn't taste any fish sauce or other herbs that typically remind me of thai food. The sweet and tangy sauce included was also bit thin. Overall, the dumplings were not a hit with me.

Had their Chicken Pad Thai, it is more on the sweeter side which I am okay with, mild spice level was good for someone who doesn't like too spicy. Nice staff. Food is decent enough as well. However, wait times can be a tad bit on the longer end compared to other establishments.

I've been coming here for a few years now and I love their food. The service is incredible and I've never felt so welcome in a restuarant! :) I always get some kind of noodle dish with tofu. One of my favorite places, I highly reccomend this place to anyone!

THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY A NO GO! (at least after the pandemic) I ordered an $20 pineapple fried rice with beef and chicken. First of all, lady over the phone never mention about the $3 up charge for the soul call "Filet mignon" and another $2 for the chicken, my total came out to $19.95. It's total a ripoff. Robbing people blind. Don't recommend.
