Been going to this location for more than 7 years.. always had good customer service except for today. I only got one coffee refilled and when I asked the waitress for a coffee to go because I didn't get a refill.. i was ignored my son had to go inside and request it.. then i was charged for a new one mind you i had already paid for one!. So I eneded up paying 10 for a small cafe de olla.. so if you go make sure you ask for refills.. I won't be coming back as the customer service isn't what it used to be..

Great affordable breakfast and lunch spot close to Disneyland. Friendly staff, great choices for breakfast, food came out fast. Quick to refill drinks, all around a nice local breakfast spot. A must try!!

The Gran Burrito is probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. I came 2 days in a row and it tasted even better the second time. 5 minutes

Amazing food!!
I love this place..

Owner has a nice presence and the employees have been kind..

Just check the prices if you haven't been in a while so it doesn't throw you off guard..

The experience here was pretty bad, couldnt get seated for a few minutes while a seat was in view with noone in, the servers seemed to have bad or a lack of communication between eachother, i had gotten some pancakes and eggs, it was about a 3/10. The pancakes are great size but they amount of eggs they give is about the size for a 8 year old. Lastly the price for 2 adults came out to almost a whopping 60$ for breakfast, and it didnt even fill us up, take your business to ihop or dennys compared to this joint.

$17 for an average size breakfast burrito. Comparatively, it's a high price to pay as I've patronized many of the area restaurants, specifically seeking breakfast burritos. I recommend giving it a go. My opinion doesn't pay anyone's bills. See for yourself.

I've been to this cafe a few times before and I have always had a good experience and food is amazing except for today that I decided to take my friend to eat there for her to try it and service was horrible Yareli was extremely rude to the point we had to walk out before even eating, it's so sad I was so excited to eat there now I don't even know if I'll be going back i hope they hire people who actually have good manners and like their job because good service its essential for a place with good food like S &J Cafe.

Overall a cute spot for breakfast or brunch. The bacon and eggs were your run of the mill breakfast but their sourdough toast was top notch. My only complaint is that when asked for specific modifications (asked for the bacon to be well done & Splenda with coffee instead of sugar), the requests were ignored. Still, it was a reasonable price and the food was out quick.

Gran breakfast burrito is one of the best I ever tried.

I've visited this place a few times over the years, and it’s always a bit of a hit or miss, depending on your server. The food is consistently delicious, and it’s a great spot for large gatherings with family and friends. It's convenient, but the service could be more attentive. On a few occasions, I had to remind the staff for simple requests, like lemons for my tacos or even an item that was missed entirely from my order. While the quality of the food often justifies the price, the service doesn’t always match up to the cost. That being said, it’s still a solid choice overall, especially for group outings. Just be prepared for occasional bumps in service.

This restaurant has a lot of mixed reviews. I decided to try it anyways. I went for breakfast around 8:30 am on a Sunday morning. There were not many people in the restaurant and it took a while before anyone came to take my order. I ordered a Mexican Omelette with Chorizo and Jalapenos. The Jalapenos were virtually tasteless. The potatoes were not hot and the toast came dry with no butter. I had to ask for additional water even though my seat was where all servers passed by. Overall, the food was not that great and I cannot recommend this place. Other potential customers should read the previous reviews.

Everything has been delicious! Beverages, food and all 💯. Side note...the Torta de asada was fire 🔥 absolutely nostalgicly delicious. Cheers 🍻

We are still here and I had to leave this review. This was so delicious after a busy weekend. Fresh made corn tortillas, spicy and flavorful salsas, and flavors of mexico. My partner ordered huevos motuleños and she raved about it, especially the sauce and the plantains. I ordered huevos a la Mexicana which is light but so filling and delicious with their tortillas. We just picked this off of nearby breakfast spots and are so happy we came here. A must try!

This cafe is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican breakfast! I went with my girlfriends and ordered the machaca breakfast, and it was absolutely amazing. The machaca tasted like real, authentic dried beef from Mexico, so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The beans served on the side were outstanding, and the warm tortillas, which tasted freshly made, tied the whole meal together. It was such a great experience, and I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.
