Sabroso! Mexican Grill

One negative for me was NOT being informed we would be charged 35.00 for gratuity. We had a small party of 6. I was also charged extra for a beer no one received.

We really enjoyed the ambience and the flavors of the food. The sauces had amazing depth of flavors that you typically don’t get at Mexican restaurant. A very unique place that maximizes the small space they have to work with. The new restaurant will open soon and will definitely be good for business.

Waited about 10 minutes for service, finally get help, placed a to go order, got home ended up with someone else’s burrito. I paid 22 bucks for a fish burrito, ended up getting dry chicken burrito, which was not very good. Definitely wont be back.

This Mexican fast food spot hits the mark every time! The portions are generous, and the food is always flavorful. The shrimp bowl is a standout—fresh, zesty, and packed with deliciousness. A great option when you want something quick, filling, and super tasty!

I'm about authentic Mexican food. When I say authentic, I don't mean your El Torito or white wash food (no offense).

I tried Sabroso and I was hooked. I went 4 more times and decided that they would cater for my wedding.

Everyone at the wedding wanted seconds. To the point they were trying to bribe the caters for another plate.

Our wedding planner even ran after Sam to ask him how do you order a chile relleno and she's Italian.

Beyond their amazing food. The venue was impressed how clean they left the kitchen.

So, we were traveling for work and wanted authentic Mexican food near Garden Grove. I searched and read reviews, and we found Sabrosos. It is in a strip mall and hard to find, but when we called the hostess came out and waived us down. It took a while to turn around and find parking, and she called my number back to make sure we could find it ok. Excellent customer service, warm and welcoming- and some amazing food and margaritas! Definite will come back again when in town!

I've been here a few times and the food always consistent and fresh and it's very delicious. There habanero salsa to top it off with has some kick but hints of lime and it's delicious. I ordered there carne asada plate and it didn't disappoint at all . It arrived in a cast iron skillet just sizzling and ready to be devoured. A side of fresh beans and guacamole and corn or flour tortillas served fresh. This place has been featured on television and rightfully so it's family run and its always fresh.

My First time ordering from here and I was dissatisfied. I had better burritos elsewhere, it was very basic. No flavor.

Good food

The tacos and burritos are packed with fresh ingredients, and their homemade salsas add the perfect kick. Don’t miss their refreshing aguas frescas and margaritas, which pair perfectly with the meal. Great food and drinks that always hit the spot!

Not a great dining experience. Wine was served in a dirty glass which was an awful start. Ordered steak tacos, chile rellenos and loaded nachos - all were sub par.
