Sookdal is famous for low temperature salt water aging pork belly.
Taste of pork belly is the best in OC.
You can eat pork belly with salt, chopped garlic, wasabi, grilled cheese and many different pickled vegetables (Cucumber, Cabbage, Radish tops etc.) for unique taste.

Genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We felt like we were judged and unwelcomed from start to finish. The food was great but service made the overall experience pretty horrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Its very hot but there is only one AC and door was opened. Server said for the hot temperature, “it is normal temperature for the BBQ place” she wanna teach me. Very uncomfortable and she was unkind during whole serving time.
The Beef was not so good but the pork is very good. Anyway i will not visit again for the service quality. One server covers 3 tables and customers should wait for a while for every requests. Its very tired to tell and order again and again. It was taken 10 mins for a water bottle.
I think, this problem is due to not educated servers by the owner. I will never visit this place again.

We ordered 1 Combo C and an additional serving of aged pork which cost us ~$138 with tax included for 4 people so I would say that it is not too expensive as the fat fill your stomach quite fast. Customer service is good, waiting time is not too bad compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants (waited ~30 minutes). I LOVE their onion salad! The sauce is just so good that I think this restaurant has the best one. The kimchi tofu soup is good too, just that it has too much oil/fat on top, otherwise, the taste is perfect. The side dishes are good too. Pork jowl is really good, I think I like it the most among all the meat that come from Combo C. The parking lot might be a big problem if you come during peak time Anyway, definitely recommend this place!

Amazing Korean soup restaurant! The flavors are authentic and the broths are rich and comforting. The kimchi jjigae and beef bone soup were both outstanding. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend for a hearty meal!

Fresh meat with high quality. I never have to worry when I bring my friends to fill our meat craving. Combo D is often chosen with different types of meat. I would recommend their cold noodle. Unlike other korean, their cold noodle has no broth, but a dry cold mixed with vegetables and kimchi, can't stop when you start. However, their service is not quite right. Was served by a lady, she's super unhappy, you can feel that by the way she serves.Anyway, still a good place to stop by some meat night.

We ordered combo B and rib eye. The service was exceptional, with the server cooking all meats perfectly. However, we were 100% disappointed with the skirt meat, as it was chewy and not up to expectation. Despite this, we'll definitely return, but we'll skip the skirt meat next time.Plenty of parking available. The space is large and free of charge.

The servers r nice but the guy was meh. However the food is just so amazing it makes up for everything. The Banchan thick 10 day age samgyupsal and vibes are amazing!!! The line is super long so get there at a weird hour highly recommend!! Kimchi jjigae is so good and gogi melts in your mouth ?
